HI KAREN…THIS IS BRENT IN TEXAS. I DONT KNOW IF YOU
REMEMBER ME, BUT WE MET A COUPLE OF TIMES AT UNITY OF NORTH
HOUSTON (REV. SHAY SAYS HI!) - AND ONCE LAST AUGUST AT UNITY
OF THE HILLS IN AUSTIN. I JUST NOTICED YOUR NEW CD WAS ON
YOUR SITE - SO I DID THE ONLY RIGHT THING TO DO….I ORDERED A
COPY! I LISTENED TO THE 3 SAMPLE TRACKS: “MAN ENOUGH”, “IF
YOU DO” & “HOW MANY WOMEN” . AFTER HEARING THE SAMPLES - I
CAN DEFINITELY SAY THAT THIS “IS” A COUNTRY MUSIC CD INDEED!
I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR ALL 3 OF THOSE SONGS ON THE RADIO WAVES
EVERYWHERE!!- THATS WHERE THEY BELONG! I NOTICED YOU WILL BE
IN DALLAS IN MID-JUNE - I WILL PLAN TO BE THERE! ITS A 5
HOUR DRIVE FROM WHERE I LIVE TO DALLAS - BUT, BELIEVE ME -
YOUR MUSIC MAKES IT WORTH THE DRIVE! WILL YOU HAVE ANOTHER
STOP IN HOUSTON THIS YEAR? I WILL KEEP CHECKING YOUR SITE…
THANKS FOR YOUR NEW CD! WHAT WAS IT LIKE TO RECORD WITH
COLLIN? WILL KEEP IN TOUCH! - BRENT IN TX!
Just wanted to say WOW!!!!!!! Saw you in Missouri at the
Mckesson Users Conference! I loved the show and was very
glad that I was at the very front table. On Angels Wings is
such a powerful song!!!!!!
Just got home from your fabulous performance for the
Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association Banquet,
and visited your website to download “Angels In Disguise.”
What a great tribute to the Hospice people, one of which
is my wife.
I can’t begin to tell you how moving the experience was
for me, as I just lost my Mother in Oct. of 04. It brought
the experience back and added a better touch to it all.
Thank You for sharing YOUR gift with us.
We listened to your CDs on the way home and really
enjoyed them.
I first heard your song ‘Precious Child’ two years ago
after losing my first born son at 36 and a half weeks of
pregnancy. I would sit for many hours replaying Precious
Child whilst the tears flowed freely. It was good to be able
to sit and cry for hours, to release the sadness and
emptiness I felt.
It is such a beautiful song. Thank-you!
Cathy

Dear Cathy, Dennis, Kathleen, Brent, Sandra, and Sarah,
Thank you so much for writing. You have no idea how much it
means to me. …..and it never seems to fail, when I’m having
a lousy day, I’ll come here just to check in and see if my
work is making any difference at all………and TA DA!!! There’s
a guestbook entry from one of you. You rock. Big smooches,
and large hugs, and many thanks.
Having one of those days……well, I WAS!!!

Karen,
I am a hospice chaplain and we do memorial services often. I
found your song, “Healing in the Hands of Time,” and we have
used it several times–playing the CD. It is just the right
song for our setting. Thank you so much for writing and
singing it!!
Karen

How can I even begin to thank you for your music, your
beautiful spirit, and your hugs today! You are such a gift
to this world and I am more then blessed to have met you.
Your song “Precious Child” has meant so much to me since I
first heard it after my son’s death. He was born still due
to anencephaly on 12/18/96. Much love and light to you
always.
Karen,
I recently heard you speak at a Hospice seminar in Phoenix
and you were wonderful.I purchased your music set plus book
and listened to the music on my 3 hr.trip back to where we
live.I have to share your message with my co-workers
sometime in the near future and I doubt I do as well as you
did, mainly because I do not sing.In your singing you remind
me alot of Carly Simon, yes,I’m that old,if you get my drift.
I am also a three year Breast Cancer survivor, and with doing
hospice work I am doublely blessed. Thanks for the hug and
your beautiful music.
I was at the Hospice Conference and loved all of your
songs. Specially the OBGYN how very true. It was great to
hear someone elses thoughts on dementia my mother in law had
it and it was very heart breaking to see a person so full of
love and life, to suddenly not know who you are or who she
is. Thank You for all the great songs.
Love, Dorothy
Dear Patti, Kacie, Daleen and Dorothy,
Thank you so much for your entries. They mean the world to
me.
I had soooo much fun in Phoenix! My first gig ever at a ZOO!
Thanks for being such lovely, wide-open, big-hearted people.
I loved spending time with you all.
big hugs,

karen
Karen, I thank you for your wonderful prensence and
present you gave us at the Hospice Volunteer Conference in
Phoenix. It stood alone, yet added to the flow of the
conference that allowed us to be alive for the whole event.
Keep going, girl.
For somewhere I learned the “life is to death as the
stream is to the ocean. The stream flows its life knowing it
is going somewhere but has no read concept of the ocean
until it arrives and flows into the larger purpose of its
being.” I use that a lot working with spiritual people who
may not be religious.
My step sister age 49 is dying of cervical/ovarian cancer
and I am looking everywhere to find your single of Precious
Child for her mother..Can u please let me know where I can
find this?
I know this will be a little off topic, but since I’ve
found your website I just wanted to let you know. You
rendition of ‘Stay awake’ on Disney Babies’ Lullaby album
has touched my family for over 13 years. First with my
oldest son, and now with my youngest.
I always fall asleep with him when that song comes on. God
Bless you.
Dearest Ella,
Please accept my sincere condolences. The Compassionate
Friends has that single available. Try
thecompassionatefriends.org
My best to you and to your family.

To Glenn and Mike,
Thank you so much for writing! Glenn…….what a beautiful
metaphor…the stream. Thank you.
Mike……….holy cow. I had totally forgotten about the Disney
Babies song. I’m going to try to find a copy!! Thank you so
much for writing.
lots of love…..
karen
We just went to a Remembrance Service for our brother Jim
at Roswell Park Memorial Institute. During the service they
played a song that you wrote called “Precious Child”.
It was hauntingly beautiful. Is that song on one of your
CDs? I would like to obtain a copy. I already have 4 of your
CDs but they do not include this song.
Hi Karen!
I saw you at the Phoenix Zoo - The conference for Hospice
Caregivers and volunteers. I wanted to let you know that
your show really touched me. You are one of God’s angels,
that is for sure. God is using your hands, your feet, and
especially your voice and smile to love his people. How
blessed are you!! Thank you for your wonderful presence! I
too am a singer, and would love to do what you do. Thank you
for showing me how to do it!You were my angel that day! God
bless you always,
Karen — You have an incredible talent, heart, and spirit.
You deserve the title: “Guru” (which I know you took
hesitantly). I’m a Clevelander with a sister in Austin who
heard you at Unity of the Hills. She sent me one of your CDs
for my 49th birthday. It’s not “just” what you sing but
“how”… I often play your music when psyching up for class (I
do my share of driving) or reflecting on compassion (I’m
also a counseling student.) May your career and creativity
and relationships continue to blossom. Digression: Your
website indicated that you had an auto accident some time
back. I hope that recovery has been smooth. I was initiated
into “chronic pain” through an accident, and music is one of
the most profound healing tools on the planet. Blessings.
Dear Rose,.
Precious Child is in the CD that comes inside my book, On
Angel’s Wings. Single copies of the song can be gotten
through
www.thecompassionatefriends.org.
Thank you so much for appreciating the song. It was a
wonderful gift that was sent through me to you.
Dear Jeanne & Maria……..thank you so much for appreciating
me. Your guest book entries mean so much to me..
Jeanne……keep on singing………..
Maria…….yes….my back is way, way much better. It’s almost
been a year now. I hope that your initiation into chronic
pain is long past.
Much love to you both……….I’m in Kansas City….just ate a
whole lot of burnt ends (barbeque……a KC speciality.) Stuffed
and ready for bed….and it’s 8pm!

Thank you so much for singing today at the Center for
Spiritual Living. You simply amazed me. I’ve been listening
to your CD “On Angel’s Wings” all afternoon and am going to
share it with friends. You also signed a lovely inscription
in my Mom’s Mother’s Day present. It was very special. Thank
you so much.
KAREN!!!
Wow! It has been such a long time! This is Ron Jones and
Randy Krueger from St. Louis, Missouri…..we met you at a
music conference while in Nashville few years ago…….we were
with our good friend Laura Watts, her last name has changed
due to marriage. I have been so enamored of your work for
many years, I was first introduced to it at Unity village
one summer when they did a lot of music seminars, actually
where we met Laura! I want to thank you for the healing that
you have given so many on this planet throught your musical
abilities, your work is so important, please continue to
inspire and raise the consciousness of our planet! We both,
as musicians really enjoy listening to your songs, they are
comical, inspirational and thought provoking! Our music
studios are doing well, we are very involved in teaching
piano and voice and are involved in competitions and
recitals with our students! Take care, let us know when you
are near us in concert we will be sure to come see you, we
are right outside of St. Louis! Peace! Love and Blessings!
Ron Jones and Randy Krueger
Karen - It was great hearing you for the second time
yesterday (5/8) at the PA HOSPICE Conference/Meeting in
Grantville, PA. I have your disc from last year, along with
‘God’s Refrigerator’ and enjoy them morfe and more.
May God continue to bless you - Always, Karolyn Stone
You probably don’t remember me, but a couple of years
ago, I spoke with you on the phone while you were getting
ready to go on another trip and ordered a half dozen of your
books to give as gifts. I have all your CDs but have never
had the chance to see you in person. I wish you came out
East more often. I know you came to my Unity church in West
Hartford before I was a member, But I’ll keep praying.
Your messages said in your lyrics and sung with such
sincererity has me listening to some of my favorites daily
because they lift me up when I need it. I find myself
laughing outloud sometimes and no one is home. And, of
course, I can always cry, softly or hysterically.
Your voice can go from soft and gentle to strong and
emphatic in a split second. And the sound that comes from
deep within you is so beautiful, for lack of a better word
to describe it.
Thank you for sharing your gift with the world. Please
continue to write and sing more songs that instill messages
to all because you need to “chip away” at some souls. What a
beautiful way your gift works and can continue to send
messages of love and peace to the world. Congradulations on
your award (which affirms your are going in the correct
direction) and for already having made a major “chip” off
your own statue. Sending you recordings around the world and
having them so receptive to you and your words is only the
beginning for you. Continue and you will soar like an eagle
and fly with the angels.
Thank you again for just being you and God bless,
Christine
Just received my first e-mail re Making a World -wide
splash, went to your website and found that you generously
make sheet music available for sale. What I need to know is
whether the music has guitar chords or not. My husband and I
do a music ministry at our church and I know of several of
your songs that would be very well received. Thanks
I get to buy more CD’s because I pass them out to friends
who I sense may need to hear a particular song…..and they
don’t want to give them back. Can you blame them? no.
Yours since your recordings were on audio cassette tapes.
Dearest Ben….thank you. CSL was a great place with
wonderfully receptive people, including you! Hope your Mom
enjoyed the book.
Dearest Ron and Randy…..Great to hear from you!! Thank
you. Let’s stay in touch.
Dearest Karolyn…..thank you so much for writing….I’m BACK
in PA again this week! I can’t get enough of you.
Dearest Christine. Wow. Thank you. Bless you.
Dearest Janet……You rock!!!! Since the cassette days huh?
Thank you. Very special.
Dearest Bonnie……..I’m checking on the guitar chords. Best
thing to do is to write
Taylor@karentaylorgood.com and get the answer right
away!!! Thanks for writing.
I LOVE YOU ALL. Forgive the group answer. I’m in
Washington, D.C……did a presentation last night for the
Jewish Book Council. It was great. Off to PA this morning.
Big hugs to you all.
Karen,
Did we know each other back in 1980? I lived in San Antonio,
Tx and worked at “Cowboy”. Do the names Mark Q., Lamar K. or
Nancy mean anything to you? One of your pictures reminded me
of you from 20 years ago.
Hi! You will remember me from Unity of Chicago when you
were just starting to make the rounds. Just to let you know
you made a difference in my life Major! You sang a new song
you had just written when I last saw you it went something
like this “I always know what I need to know when I need to
know it. Do you have that song recorded on an CD in your
history. I am just growing up in Christ and I need the words
to that song. It is very important to me and I know it will
made a difference to the Seniors that I now serve. Mike
Matoin and I always knew you would be a star some day. Too
bad Mike is not around physically to actually witness this.
I guess I am his stand-in for now.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for never giving up -
Look how many lives you have affected. Love in Christ
Always, Irene
Hi Irene,
Great to hear from you. “I Always Know…” is on the Perfect
Work of Art CD (the revised edition). Thanks for asking.
I remain yours in God, our Higher Power, the Universe,
knowing that we are all the same, and all children of a
loving Presence.

Dear Karen,
A dear and wonderful friend of mine sent this site address
to me…we communicate online as we are both bereaved parents.
I buried my only two children in 2004… less than four months
apart. My strong faith, family, and friends are the
strengths the good Lord continuously provides for me to
survive. Thank you for your heartfelt songs… bringing the
emotions out helps the healing process.
Deepest regards,
Diane Craddock
What an introduction its been this month hearing 2 lovely
songs from your new CD ‘How Many Women’ the first such a
beautiful wedding song ‘If You Do’ with Collin Raye and
track ‘You Never Said Anything About Love.
The songs played tonight ‘Deep Blue Desert Sky’ & On Angel’
Wings’ are staggeringly beautiful..so uplifting..special
words ..best heard so far this year!
Lovely to hear you tell the story to how the writing of
‘How Can I Help You Say Goodbye’ came about..I’ve loved this
song for years Patty Loveless’ crowning glory. The video is
unforgettable such a sad song but the beauty shines through.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving the world
such a beautiful song.
Hope more people check out your music. I’ve alerted fans
to your interview on the BBC Message Boards. What a way for
Marie to celebrate her 1st year on BBC Radio by interviewing
you. Karen…Yes we LOVED it too!
Marie is a really good friend and has fantastic taste in
Country Music I’m only too pleased she’s brought your
beautiful songs into my life.
Every Success with the new album.
Very Best Wishes From A New and Happy fan
Andy Cole, Poole, Dorset UK
Hello Karen,
I.m from the Netherlands and Martha Moore (a dear friend of
me) tell’s me about you.
Listening to the song On Angel’s Wings with hold breathing.
Saw you’re place in the top 10 with God’s refrediather, I’ff
heard that too.
Hope someone get’s you to Europe for a tour because I would
like to hear more.
Kind regards from Truus at the other side of the world.
Heard your interview on marie Crichton’s Radio Show on
BBC Shropshire and just had to write to say how beautiful
the songs ‘Deep Blue Desert Sky’ & ‘On Angel’ Wings’ were.
Breathtaking.
‘How Can I Help you to Say Goodbye’ is possibly the most
beautiful song patty Loveless has rcorded and to hear the
story behind it form the writer herself was wonderful. I
moved away form home at 18 to University, then 4 years
later, reluctantly moved back here for a job….both times
that song has been very poignant, leaving behind people you
care about.
Also as you get older and friends move away, come to visit
and leave again, the song is powerful.
A friend was killed in a car accident, and a lecturer from
university committed suicide…again the song takes on new
levels of meaning. I’m sure as I get older it will do more
so, especially as an only child….
I for one, will be looking to get soemn of your CD’s.
Hope to see you in the UK sometime soon…come to the North
East when you do..
For now, love and hugs across the pond, which music
always seems to make smaller thorugh its amazing ability to
connect people.
Dear Karen,
I saw you at the Pennsylvania Hospice Network Conference in
Hershey. You were fabulous!! I bought your CD and the song
“Quiet Love” makes me cry every time. I had that kind of
relationship with my father, he worked at a gas station,
only I didn’t realize his love until it was too late. He
died 12 years ago. I really have regrets about our
relationship. I can relate to so many of your lyrics. Thanks
for all your great music! I am wearing my CD out!!
Hey Karen!!! very very very long time no see!!! I’m all
growed up now! lol I think last time my family and I seen
you was in Wapak, Ohio in like 1998 maybe.
Never forget about you tho! hehe Not sure if your the one
who actually reads these things but if you are get ahold of
me sometime!! Would love to talk to you again!
I knew there was a good reason i pushed myself this
morning to go church.
When i heard angel wings i was so moved… not just for older
parents but
for all the souls we need to let go of… i save alot of
homeless animasl and
today this song truly touched my heart.
I hope someday you will write a song for our animal
friends too.. they suffer so.
They need a voice like yours.
I just saw you for the 2nd time at First Unity, St.
Petersburg, Fl. I brought friends with me, telling them that
they wouldn’t be disappointed. They certainly weren’t and
are now fans too. Your songs can take me from laughing to
crying in a nanosecond. How wonderful they are. You are
certainly one of God’s blessings for we “Earthlings”.
I’m sitting here feeling very blessed to have enjoyed
your many wonderful songs that connect us all each time you
have visited First Unity of St. Petersburg. Ever since
hearing of your beginnings as a vocalist, I have felt a
strong connection as I was a “Chick-singer”, as well for
several years and now am blessed to have Laura Watts as my
Music Director and friend, using me as part of our Music
Ministry which fills my heart. I want you to know I’m
working on overcoming the fear of asking so I may fulfill my
creative dream of inspiring people as you have inspired me.
Maybe not on a National/Int’l level, but within my own
community, family and friends. I feel many of your songs are
powerful enough to live on forever and know you will receive
the recognition you truly deserve professionally, but you
must know within your heart, you already are #1 with all of
us! There is no age limit to your audience…just ask my 8
yr.old daughter who I know understood the meaning of a
Mother’s love listening to “Heart of My Heart”(Where did You
go). I know “On Angels Wings” can go all the way! But,
that’s not the only one! Go with your heart on every
decision every time.
To all of the dear people who have written lately,
Thank you!! I appreciate your time and your thoughts and
love.
So, so much.
It’s so much fun that many of you are “over there”….not in a
Spiritual sense of course….I don’t know if radio and the
internet can make it THAT far yet!…..but across the oceans.
We really are One, aren’t we? One family, scattered far and
wide.
I send my love to each of you………and my profound thanks.
xx

Most kind, compassionate, helpful person who helped me
get a song I purchased on the Internet for a Web site.
Responded promptly and everytime with my requests, which
were many. I recommend this site to all. Great songs.
Precious Child is such a favorite song of mine. I play it
over and over again. Thanks again for allowing me to use it
as background music for my little boy’s website who died a
few years ago.

I WAS AT THE RYMAN TO SEE YOUR PERFOFMANCE ,ON ANGELS
WINGS MADE ME
CRY!!!!! HOW BEAUTIFUL!!!! I SAW YOU AT THE CONVENTION
CENTER AND SPOKE
TO YOU,YOU WERE SO NICE. I AM GLAD I HAD THE CHANCE TO HEAR
AND MEET
YOU. I HAVE A FRIEND AND HER MOTHER HAS ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE
AND I SHARED
YOUR SONG WITH HER. THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Your website is very interesting and I really enjoyed
looking at it. I also love the song GODS REFRIGERATOR I tell
everyone I see about it ,even strangers! You are the best .
I saw you at Unity Church for Positive Living. Your song
“On Angel’s Wings” helped me through my father’s illness.
His stroke 10 years ago took his speech and use of his right
arm. My dad made his transition June 4 of this year and your
song still brings me comfort and peace. Thank you for
sharing your talent.
My husband, Mike and I have attended several IFCO shows
at the Ryman over the years but this time the show was so
much more special because it introduced you and your
beautiful music and voice to us. We were both so touched by
your story and songs that you shared. They really hit
home…my mother-in-law (although not elderly) has been ill
for more than 10 years (we’ve been together 9) so it was
very difficult when we made our move from NY to Nashville in
March considering what condition she was in. Fortunately for
my husband, she had given us her blessing before her last
relapse so we knew we were doing the right thing by
relocating and starting a new life for us.
When the show was finished we looked for you but none of
the performers were around afterwards. Mike was so happy
that I noticed you signing in the Convention Center during
Fan Fair. Meeting you and being able to tell you how much
your performance meant to us was such a highlight for us.
Karen, you are truly a gift from God and after reading all
the entries in your guestbook it is so wonderful to see how
many others have had the opportunity to be touched by you
also.
Keep up the wonderful work…
We look forward to seeing you perform again and cannot wait
to get all of your CDs. THANK YOU for the God’s Refrigerator
CD, magnet and signed photo. Next time we see you we would
love to get the photo of the three of us signed. Keep doing
what you’re doing because it’s so important that your
talents continue to be spread to the public because there
are so many others that will be helped by your story and
songs.
Sincerely, your newest fans and friends,
Janice (& Mike) Hamelburg of Hermitage, TN
Dear Precious Friends,
Wow. THANK YOU for your guestbook entries. Once again, they
came at a great time, and they just mean the world to me.
My time at the Ryman was a high point, for sure. What a
magic night that was! I’ve been looking for ways to get
Angel’s Wings out there to more people, and the Ryman was
the start of something big!
I’m on the road today, up in WI, and it does my heart so, so
good to see that you take your time to write to me. Thank
you. I am moved, and honored.
Love and kisses and hugs,
xx

I met you back about 22 years ago at your booth at Fan
Fair and still have your pictures and materials from that
time. I have often wondered where your career went, and I am
glad that you are still recording.
When I first met you I was nineteen, and now I am 41, and
working as a disc jockey for two radio stations (one is
southern gospel and the other a traditional country music
station). I worked Fan Fair over the past 16 years, and have
been a part of a country/bluegrass booth for the last five
years.
It is so good to contact you again and hope that you will
be blessed throughout your life.
Dear Karen,
I have had your song, “Precious Child” on my PC for a long
time, and everytime I hear it, I think and moun for my older
brother, Jerry, who drowned at the age of twelve, getting
his life-saving badge for Boy Scouts. I am pro-life in all
aspects, and I know that this song was performed at a
conference of abortion survivors and thoase who lost loved
ones to abortion. May God Bless you for all that you have
done and continue to do.

Hi Karen Imm steve Martin From Lexingtonbroadcasting.com
and
www.indieislands.com The mail ran today and dropped off
your “How Many Women” cd. A fresh and entertaining piece of
work that delites and uplifts the spirit. Excellent Work.
Music You can raise a family by.
First heard of you at Tomorrow’s Hope in Jefferson,
Wisconsin.
Thank you so much for all you do.
My Mother passed away from pancreatic cancer three years
ago and all your songs hit homebase. Your appearance was
totally awesome! Thank you so much for all you do and are
continuing to do.
My daughter got one of your cd’s and had it signed. She
is so proud of this. She said she got to meet a movie star
and also got the signed autograph.
Just wanted to tell you thanks so much. Keep on doing
such an amazing job. You are truly amazing.
Hey Karen…I just had to let you know how “awesome” it was
sitting in your audience at the “Mercy Monday” fundraiser
for YWCA and Gilda’s Club. I told you that I had a CD from a
while back and I actually played it after I got home that
night as I am so touched everytime I hear your wonderful
songs! “On Angels Wings” is on the CD, as is “OBG Why Me
Blues”! I love all of them, but I must tell you that one of
my most favorite songs I have ever heard is “The Eleventh
Commandment” which I heard sung at the Bluebird by Colin
Raye and it absolutely blew me away!!!! My CD is autographed
as I bought it the night you performed with Jason Blume at
Radio”cafe in 2001!! I loved your music then and I love your
music now! Lastly, you’ll probably think this is really
lame, but when you sat at my table on Monday night….in my
mind I was thinking, “Oh my gosh, Karen Taylor-Good is
sitting here at my table…how amazing is that?” I was so
thrilled and it was totally awsome chatting with you after
the show! You are a phenomenal person Karen with an amazing
talent that only the Lord could give! Thanks for sharing
your gifts!
Just spotted the weird coincidence that ‘On Angel’s
Wings’ was released 9/11/2001.
I am formn England but was holidaying in the Us at that
time. I was at the bottom of the twin towers on 9/9 and
admirting their size from Liberty island. 9/11 found us in
Boston, where we watched events unfold on tv with American
poeple. I will never forget walking through Boston Common to
Cheers bar watching fighter jets above…the sound of a plan
above me still puts a knot in my stomach. I can still taste
the Summer beer we drank as we watched events unfolding.
We watched the city shut down, it was like a ghost town.
Watching Bush’s address from the marriott we all shared our
sorrow, ouselves, and English waitress, NYC police and fire
crews, as fighter jets circled above us.
There are numerous songs I still struggle to listen to……..as
the wer played on radio with soundbites the week following
as we drove New England.
I plucked up the courage to watch ‘United 93′ last week and
whilst gklad I did, I have never made myself sick I’ve cried
so hard at a film before.
Suddenly the song ‘On Angel’s Wings’ has a whole new
meaning…….
Karen:
Just spent a wonderful two days with you at the Unity of
Auburn Retreat in beautiful Lake Tahoe! You do such a
wonderful job of inspiring others to open up and talk of
themselves and thier lives. Your music refreshes, soothes,
stirs, and heals!! Thank you for being the blessing you are
to all of us. Keep it up - you have found your mission! You

How exciting for you to be performing at the Ryman in
June. Imagine the spirits that will be with you as you sing.
I know “On Angels Wings” will leave the audience inspired
and at awe with you magnificant talents. You are such a gift
to mankind. Hi to Dennis.
Hello Karen,
My family and I are in mourning right now, as we prepare for
the funeral of my seven-month-old niece later this week.
While searching the internet for possible songs for the
service, I came across a recording and lyric sheet for
“Precious Child” and wanted to let you know how deeply it
moved me. Your beautiful song and voice touched on exactly
what I’m feeling and what my sister and her husband must be
going through. Thank you for sharing your gift and
expressing so poignantly what it so very hard to express.
My family would like to thank you so much for the
beautiful song ‘Precious Child’. Our little son, Chandler,
passed away after a valiant and courageous two weeks of
life. He died due to the shock and stress of being born two
months premature. During the fourth month of pregnancy it
was predicted that Chandler only had a 10-15% chance of
surviving to birth. Chandler quickly proved he was a fighter
by not only surviving for an amazing 29 ˝ weeks with an
abnormal placenta but also the last 8 weeks with minimal to
no amniotic fluid due to ruptured membranes. Amazingly,
after all of this he was still able to breathe on his own
for the first week of his life.
While trying to put together the program for his funeral I
desperately wanted to find some poem or saying that would
indicate our love for our little son and how much he meant
to us. I discovered the lyrics to your song and then heard
the beautiful tune that went with it. Since this was the
night before his funeral there was no way I could request
permission to play the song or list it but we gave you full
credit for the lyrics and music.
I believe that God works in mysterious ways and that you
obviously were inspired to write the song for not only your
family but also for thousands, even millions of other
grieving families. Thank you for developing your talent and
sharing it with the world.
While Chandler may not have returned safely to our house, we
take refuge in knowing that he is truly, safely home.
Pleas help me does any body know the words to the song
Angel Wings we have heard on high?and can write them down
for me please.tis song means alot to me.
Thank you GOD bless you
I just wanted to thank you for your beautiful songs and
presence at Agape this past Sunday. Both of your songs
touched my heart. Incredible songs and incredible voice.
Thank you.
I have had the honor of meeting you twice Karen, both
times at Hospice conventions in Florida. I found you to be
very warm and sincere. You performed several of your songs
for us, and I came away both times with a renewed sense of
purpose and a feeling that my work was appreciated.
Got a promo email from Martha Moore announcing your CD
single release. I wish you much luck with the airplay.
I have come to firmly believe that one of the sad truths
about the music biz today is that cream does not rise to the
surface. It has to be promoted as heavily as the crap.
I lost my mother to Alzheimers just a few short years
ago. At the end, she did not know me, or anyone for that
matter. I experienced lots of pain for a long time. Long
before she died.
Howdy Karen! I hope all is well after IBI, Thank you for
taking a little time out to talk, I tried to e-mail you and
it returned as non-existing e-mail. Maybe we can talk some
more about music and songwriting…Take care! Randy Burch (IBI

Hi Karen…I’ve just been introduced to you by my daughter,
Melissa, who lives in LA. She was so blessed by your visit
recently. God’s timing is impecable. My mom, her Nana, is in
her final journey with Primary Progressive Aphasia and your
song ‘On Angel’s Wings’ has touched our hearts. She sent me
your book with CD and I’ve shared it with my office buddies
etc. and will be ordering my two sisters their copies. Thank
you so much for sharing not only your talents but your heart
too. You are an amazing lady! Thank you, too, for giving my
daughter the extra time at church that day. May all you give
come back tenfold. Thanks for the smiles!

Dear Karen,
What a pleasure to meet you at the “Originals” reunion.
You’ve such a great voice and an even greater spirit.
All the best to you always,
Sara
We (my husband David and I) heard you today on “Live from
Studio C”. How refreshing! Thank you for a lovely interlude
of music. Your vocals are so expressive, and the piano
accompaniment was exquisite!
I am hoping to find the words to “On Angel’s Wings”
somewhere to send to my cousin in Illinois. His mom passed
away yesterday after 5-7 years of advanced senility. Of
course, it became much worse after his dad died 3 years ago.
When I heard your song, I immediately thought of my cousin,
and how your words might offer him some solace. Are the
words available anywhere? Thanks.
We look forward to seeing you in person sometime, as we
live in the Nashville area. Adrienne
Karen, Actual date & time: 8.16.06 @ 16:08.
When I saw you singing on stage at Unity Village, MO, I
thought I was hearing an Angel singing! You have an
“Angelic” voice! I wish you would return & continue
expressing God’s voice thru yours.
*–>Plus, I do think you have an excellent website. Thank you
very much, Karen, Blessings to you.
With God’s Love,

Karen: We met several years ago when you were the keynote
for Casa de la Luz Hospice educational conference in Tucson.
I wrote your educational objectives for you for the
conference and you, you touched my soul. I have all your
CD’s from then and have had many uplifting hours listening.
I have just registered to become a practitioner using
Radical Forgiveness and imagine how I felt when I visited
the site and saw your connection. Synchronicity. Yes, we are
all one. Thank you for being you, I llok forward to our
paths crossing again someday. Love and blessings, Pamela
Dear sweet people who have signed my guest book,
Thank you!! It’s so wonderful to read your messages. You
have no idea how much it means to me.
Every time I’m in a funk and wondering why God didn’t make
me a brain surgeon, or a college professor (with tenure!),
or ANY job with security and benefits, etc……..I’ll look here
and read your comments, and remember that what I’m doing is
right, and perfect, and exactly what I’m supposed to be
doing. So, thank you. You move me. You
keep me going. And I love you.

Karen, I thoroughly enjoyed your Live in Studio C
broadcast. You have a wonderful style and great sense of
purpose in your writing and singing. Having two young sons,
the bentley brothers, that area attempting to break into the
business I see that they have a long way to go to be at your
level. But they too are their best when they touch on those
inner feelings and emotions that drive all of us.
Hi Karen, I met you at IBI, I don;t know if you remember
me or not but I was the one that was so touched by your song
On Angels Wings. You had told me at the time, I could use
your song as I am on the Iowa Board for Alzheimer
Association. I told my board about your song since we are
begining our Memory Walks in the next 2 weeks and would like
to share your song with everyone donating their time for a
cure. Apparantly I need your written permission for this to
happen. Would you please give me your blessings and get your
song out there. I would be happen to sell CD’s for you also
at these events. Thank You Linda Forthmann
Dear Karen,
Just found your wonderful music quite by accident. Bought a
stack of cd’s at an auction.that had two of yor cd’s in it..
I am hooked, ran out and bought three more copies of each to
send to my grown children. Unfortunately they were not
familiar with your music, When I tried to describe to them
what I was sending them, had to laugh at myself because I am
not usually at a loss for words but I found myself
stuttering “its not religious, no I mean not preachy,
its awesomly spiritually uplifting..”.my kids think I am
losing it…..and they won’t understand until they listen.
Thank God for your great talent and sharing with us.
Karen, hello! I’m Pamela, from the Radical Forgiveness
group of many years back; Colin’s first coach’s trainer
apart from himself. I still facilitate Miracles and share
your music with new fans. I thought you should know that out
of sight is definately not out of mind (well, ok, some of us
are more out of our minds than others, but …).
I hope all is well with you and Dennis; I think of you
and send a prayer outward each time I hear your songs. I’m
thrilled to hear you’re back on the radio with Angel’s Wings
and will put in a few requests with my Atlanta stations.
you went to my school today and thanks for comming I
loved your songs! That was a great experience everyone had
at our school. Thanks for taking time out of your day and
come all the way to our school. bye and thank you SO much!!!
Hey Karen! You came to John Muir today and you were
AWESOME!!! I wish you could come again and I loved all of
your songs. You really inspired me to write my own songs and
sing more. (By the way, I’m the one who sang Kinder), I
LOVED the presentation, and you ROCKED!!!
Vanessa
P.S. I hope your doctors appointment went well. It would
really stink if you got a bug. Good luck!
Dear Karen I have a friend who sufferd a rugged case of
parent abuse and I have not seen her since then and after
reading A child called it and i became teary eyed and then i
thoght maybe it would be a good idea for a song i know it
would be hard due to the fact that it is not from personal
experince(at least i hope not) just an idea.
That was a great performence at jm today i hope you could
come agin someday.
The song help me say goodbye reminded me of saying good bye
to my greatgrandpa he was dying and he had a typ of elz
hieghmers and the last time i saw him he did not remember my
name it was like talking to a stranger.
sry pressd button but the song kinder reminded me of a
kid that was often picked on one day i had the chance to
stop the kids from picking on him but i was afraid that they
would pick on me then. Last year this kid died whene he was
ran over by a bus so every time i see him i am left with the
reminder of that scean
so any way thanks for that special presintation
today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the song kinder spoke to me today about some of my
friends getting picke on and me too sometimes. i think
everyone gets picked on except the popular kids at out
school. i think it will help the bullies understand that u
shoudln’t make fun of people because of how they look thank
you. i liked your songs a lot i almost cried because of your
songs you sang. this other person almost did, too. that was
a good song. also, i had a quesion me and my friend grace
wanted to ask someone where to get your songs recorded,
because we have this song that’s good we think and we want
to be singers. thanks for comming to john muir. bye again.
and thanks
the song help me say good bye reminded me of my aunt she
died in a car crash , my great grandma died of old age, and
my godmother died of a heart attack when i was 3. my great
grandma and my aunt died like 2 years ago. the most thing i
remember of my godmother was she always taped nickles and
change on my card and she sent it. when i got it i always
started taking the coins off and it was fun at my age. my
grandpa just got heart surgery, too. that’s what the song
help me say goodbye reminded me off. that’s the song i
mostly had tears in my eyes. thanks for comming and teaching
me and reminding me those times.. u taught me by saying that
we’re no better than anyone else and i respect that i hope
everyone does. thanks for comming!
sorry i write a lot! it’s just that i’m talking about
what those songs teach me of and remind me and there was
this kid on the bus last year Brandon Pippenger he was on my
bus and he got ran over, but anyway he was always so funny,
he always told jokes and he made the bus sort of glow with
joy and happiness, now there’s none of that and that song
help me say goodbye reminded me of that, too. so thanks
again!
Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy
schedule to talk with Team 7-1 at John Muir MIddle School.
Your words and music were very inspirational to our
students, and I see some of them have responded to you on
their own. I appreciated not only your fine musicianship,
but the significance of the lyrics you shared. It’s
important for our students to understand the importatnce of
writing revisions, and your message about perserverence and
believing in yourself is timely for students of this age in
particular. Your visit will not be forgotten anytime soon,
and I suspect we may even see “Kinder” gestures as our
students interact this school year.
Again, thanks for starting our year on such a thoughtful,
positive “note!”
Hi Karen,
Just wanted you to know how you have blessed my life. You
were just our guest at the benefit for our Hospice program
in Rhinelander, WI on 9/24/06 -9/26/06. My kids “Love” -Get
a bigger pan and because God has also blessed me with the
gift of song, I will be singing -”Strong” at my grandson’s
christening this coming weekend. I am a Hospice nurse and as
I told you, it took me 24 years to find my calling. Oh well,
Now there is no going back -I’ll never be the same and I
LOVE the blessings God has given me through my patient’s and
their families. Keep up your wonderful work and always
remember “Don’t ever look back -life is too short to
regret”. God’s blessings to you and your TEAM!!!
Karen,
Just to let you know we’re thinking of you back here in
Hodag country. He’s been dancing outside lately and we’re
not sure why. Something about a song in his head. What a
gift you are when you pass through and share yourself and
your music with those you meet. This was an especiallly
great time, with our two first Gift of Hospice events in
Rhinelander. You are the hot fudge in all of it. You know,
the good thing about change is the things in our lives that
don’t - the love of God, our family and friends and the
things that keep us anchored when the winds of change blow.
You’re unchanging in that respect, and it’s the things in
our heart we hold on to when life around us is moving in
other directions. Thanks for being you, take care and see
you in the snail mail.
I heard you to sing the song on the CD of Colin C.
Tipping “I forgive you, me” and I must tell you, this was my
first situation to say “yes, this could be heaven….”. My
situation is also full of music because I’m a musician too
(singer, guitar and so on) and I’m very happy that I had the
opportunity to listen you with your phantastic song! You had
really good vibrations, energy and the feelin which I prefer
in this matter!
I’m was surprised, that you have a handsome and really
open face!
Thank you for your nice performance. Good bless you!
Best regards to you,
Rudolfo from Lower Austria in Europe
Im a highschool student in the Netherlands. Maybe you
think, hmm what has a highschoolstudent from the Netherlands
to do with me? but…with our class we sang Real. The song
“about the wooden boy”, and we sang it for the program of
Colin Tipping. With the singing of our song, we’re trying to
get him to the Netherlands because we’re the only country
that he does not visit on his European tour.
I looked you up on the www because I love your song of
Real. It’s really good and I want to congratulate you with
your succes!
I’m also a highschool student from the Netherlands. We
did sang Real, because it’s so beautifull! We filmed the
singing, and are going to send it to Colin in some way.
We hope he will be able to come to our school to tell us
about his philosophy.
your music is really beautifull!
I will check out some more music of yours when I have the
money.
Arrived home yesterday (home’s Lakeland FL) from
Anaheim’s ABWA leadership conference - you were awesome!!!
To say the least. We want to bring you to Lakeland for a
fund-raiser for our new foundation: Phoenix HOPE Foundation.
I will be in contact. Our foundation just received 501(c)3
status and we’ll be building a home and setting up a
counselling center for youth who have graduated our STAR
Program (formerly boot camp). We’re the only program left in
Florida and this will be the first such venture to help the
boys who are homeless when they graduate or although
successful will have to return to an environment that got
them in the STAR program. Alcoholic and drug families as
well as violence. These boys do not want to go back to that
and fail. We have not had a fund-raiser as yet and we have
no seed money. We just had a reception to introduce our
program to the area and will be issuing press releases to
area newspapers. We now have a brochure (that was sponsored)
and have written a few grant requests. We will send all the
information you need and check your schedule.
a message to tell you that your songs have been
introduced at a Gym in the Netherlands. Lots of students are
fond of “real” and singing it!! Thanks for your wonderfull
voice, lyrics and music.
It was a pleasure meeting you and talking to you at the
ABWA National Conference in Anaheim. I must say that you had
so many people in the audience on an emotional rollercoaster
ride while listening to your inspirational messages and
songs. There was much that you had to say that hit home for
me as we lost a 12 year old son in 2002, lost a grandmother
in 2004. So, there were many tears of joy and sadness during
your presentation. I am so very glad that you came to our
event because you touched so many lives and you made many of
us think about life, happiness, letting go and accepting the
fact that our loved ones will always be missed, but are
always in our hearts until we are able to meet them again.
We would love to find out if we could also set up a local
seminar to have you speak to other women in our area who
weren’t able to attend the National Conference in Anaheim.
Thanks again for what you do and look forward to hearing
more of your songs.
Hi Karen,
we (students of the ST. Ursula school in Horn (Netherlands))
like to thank you for your wonderful song real. In a special
project for our musicclass we taped the song to show how
interrested we are in living the text. Maybe in the next
time we’ll be able to send you our video-message. For now:
thank you, and hope to see you soon in the Netherlands.
Karen, just saw you at the ABWA conference in Anaheim and
you were wonderful. bought your book and the CD (Song Guru)
Just Sorry”bless your heart”wasn’t on there. Our group had
such fun with that on the way home. I’ve always said it,
being a good Abilene, Texas girl, but now when I do, I’ll
remember the lovely lady with the wonderful voice that
touched my heart and my soul so deeply. Thank you for your
beautiful music. How blessed we were to have you at our
conference.
Hi Karen,
We have just been on a healing week in NSW Australia. It’s a
safe place for survivors of childhood trauma (all abuse
etc), run by Survivors. Your music featured prominently and
one of your songs is the theme song of the place!! It was a
truly life saving experience, and we want to thank you from
our heart for your music, the only way we could find a path
to our true spirit.
When are you coming to Australia??
Love and blessings,
Em and co. (DID)

I had the priveledge of hearing you at the UHPCO
convention here in Salt Lake City on Thursday. You not only
did a fabulous presentation, but you touched my heart.
Saturday was the 1st anniversary of my mother’s death and
your music went right to where I was hurting. It was a
pleasure to meet you. I helped with the sale of your
materials after your presentation. You talked about finding
on your website about a fundraising deal you are involved
in. I couldn’t see that on your website. Please let me know
where I might find this information.
Thanks for all you are doing to promote the work of
hospice.
I live in Nashville (Fairview actually) (my husband is a
college music teacher and a hard working artist/studio
musicain/bassist and all around good man & wonderful
husband) and I happened to be driving down the road and
heard you on a radio spot singing “”I’ll be there for you”.
I was absolutely riveted. When I could dry the tears from my
eyes I scribbled down your name in hopes of finding you some
day. Gee I wish I could write my heart like that!
In my younger days I was a singer-songwriter although not
a commercial songwriter as is so prevelant in Nashville
today. It was just what I happened to be doing at that
moment in time…I had no thoughts of being in the industry-in
fact, I don’t think there was much of an industry back then.
Nashville was almost a ghost town back in the 70’s and early
80’s.
I got side tracked somewhere along the way but never lost my
desire to write. Now at mid-life I have cleared the boards
to do just that. I hope to create & document a small body of
work-just to say I did! And just to play for my family &
friends and any poor soul who might need some comic relief!
I feel so blessed-full of spark-and not song writing
skill to my name! Here I sit in this town of awesome
songwriters and with only my “fly by the seat of my pants”
skills. I think that is an awesome challenge for a gal at
mid-life! I just intend to have some fun with it. As they
say, this is my life and not a dress rehearsal.
I could use some inspiration at this time in my life. I
need to be around fearless creators with great heart & love.
You convey in your music what I wish I could convey in mine.
Looking forward to meeting you in the hopes that I will find
my voice too! In some small way I hope to leave something
good behind when the race is finally run.
Thanks for being such a shining light-

Not retired but Re-fired!
My husband and I lost our first born son on June 11,
2006. I was seven months pregnant and when I went to the
doctors for a normal visit they said our sweet son Jacob
Raymond had no heart beat. It breaks my heart everyday not
having him here. A gal from our suport group told us about
your song “Precious Child” I want to thank you from the
bottom of my heart for writing such a beautiful song. I
listen to it often, and every time I do it brings tears to
my eyes. The pain of losing our son is like no other that I
have felt before. Precious Child is exactly what Jacob is to
us, and every last word of that song is true. Thank you so
much for giving us a way to express how we feel for our
beloved son.
My daughter, Lily, died a year ago this month. The cantor
at our church sang your song, “Precious Child”. I purchased
the CD and listen to it almost daily. For the child not to
have been yours, but rather you nephew, you have an
incredible insight into what it feels to have lost a child.
My Lily was only a month shy of being 3 years old. She was
ill with cancer or some other aweful disease. She was
perfectly healthy and went to sleep to never wake again.
Thank you for writing “Precious Child”!
Rae Desmond
What a fabulous addition you were to the just completed
Radical Empowerment Cruise!! I cannot now imagine having
been there without you. Everyone felt your love and support,
not to mention the fact that they enjoyed your concert and
your fabulous talent as an entertainer. But it was your
heart that mattered most - and you were REAL!!! It was
wonderful to get to know you better and to meet and spend
time with Dennis as well. My calendar is marked for your
January 26 appearance at Unity Dallas, and I’ll see you
there.
It was great to see you again this past weekend in New
Port Richey, Florida at the hospice seminar. I was so
grateful that you were near for me to bring my friend, Donna
from Lakeland. She has been through alot over the years with
also losing a nephew who was 3 and murdered and a son 12
years old within 5 years of each other. So, as you know I
didn’t tell her where I was taking her. I don’t know that
she would have gone had I told her. She loved the song “My
precious child” and “On Angels Wings”.
I feel that you have touched her heart just the way that
you have touched mine and many others. You are real, warm,
talented, inspiring and beautiful and we just love that
about you.
Thanks again for all that you do and we hope to bring you
to the small town of New Smyrna Beach, Florida near Daytona
Beach so you can share to others in our area.
I went to the Players Theater in Sarasota yesterday to
hear your program for Hospice volunteers. It was wonderful
and touched my heart in so many ways. Keep up your great
work and I will help spread the word about you to everyone I
can. The message of Hospice is love and caring, and you
embrace that so well.
Hi Karen…I am a Tidewell/Hospice Social Worker and
attended your concert at the “Players” in Sarasota
Florida!!! Thank you for taking the risks in your life to
write all those songs and then send messages via music which
I always believe has more impact than therapy itself
sometimes!!! It was a wonderful tribute to our work in
Hospice which is really a wonderfully joyful job the best I
have ever had as a social worker/therapist….I too have an
aging mother and as a caregiver of my mother, my job, and a
daughter recovering from cancer ,,,,your songs say it
all!!!! My spouse and I play guitar and sing and would love
to learn some of your songs for our own good…you have done
things I have dreamed of and thank you for sharing your
talents and bravery with others…You seem to be so “real” and
share what we all want to say at some time or another and
put our thoughts to a song which is a wonderul vehicle to
help people remember the ideas through a catchy song!!!
Would love to hear you sing again….thank you for your gift
and for sharing it. May your “Journey in life” continue to
lead you to what matters most in life. Sincerely, Madelyn
Balitz LCSW
Dear Karen,
I heard you sing last evening in Sioux City, IA for the
“Gift of Hospice..Making Every Moment Matter”. You were
awesome as always and truly touched the hearts and souls of
all who attended. You have such a gift and thank you so for
sharing it with those of us in Hospice. With your help and
passion, maybe someday everyone will come to know and
realize that Hospice can make such a difference at
end-of-life! I came right home to download the “Angels in
Disguise” and was so moved that I plan to play it at the
beginning of our Hospice team meeting this Wednesday morning
as a tribute to our staff! You are doing such an important
ministry and I hope that you continue to share your gifts of
song, love and compassion with us!
Nadine

Dear Karen and Staff,
Prescious Child was the ending song at my two year old
daughters funeral. Compassionate friends has had a website
mishap and the words are no longer available.
I have purchased your CD but cannot bring myself to write
down the lyrics while I listen to it.
I heard you for the first time in Phoenix at the Hospice
gathering. I fell in love with your singing as did so many
others. you were very tired then, as you had just come from
another performance, but you still gave it your all, and
were so gracious to us, so naturally I fell in love with you
too!
I bought two of your CDs and your book. I would like to
order three more of your CDs for my daughter and daughters
in law for Christmas but don’t know how. I thought I could
do it on line, but can’t find a place to place an order. I
would like to order two of your Song Guru CDs and one with
the song “Get a Bigger Pan” in it. (I’ve played it so much
that I lost the CD cover so I don’t know the real CD title)
Can you tell me how to find them? I would be so grateful.
Sincerely, Joani
Dear Karen,
I am a hospice nurse in Franklin Tn . I just checked out
your site. Thank you for the kudos …
I read where you are trying to get your songs heard .There
is a new website that is creating a directory of established
local songwriters allowing their favorite songs not yet cut(
for one reason or another) to be heard by the industry,
established artists and the public. The website is Nashville
On Hold.com . The present writers are Essra Mohawk and Craig
Karp.
I met Molly today in current affairs @ NHC…we had a lovely
chat. I also gave Molly a card regarding this revolutionary
website. God BlessYou. GG Osborne
I Was at an event this evening in nyc. At a place called
the RockWood Music Hall Karen performed Tonight and spoke
breifly of life experiences. It was so hearfealt touching
and I left feeling so good.
This morning caught you on the Joey Reynold’s Show on my
way into work and heard your song, “She’s Gonna Fly” and it
touched me and wanted you to know. My 2 sisters and I,
mostly my 2 sisters, are caring for my elderly mom trying to
keep her at home and also I sing at church and sometimes it
includes funerals and I thought what a song of hope to sing
in that situation, too, for a mom who has passed on. And
lastly, though I never heard of you before even if I may
have heard you and did not know it was you, what a great
voice and singer you are…
I recently lost my mother to brain cancer and during her
illness and subsequent death your song On Angels Wings has
been such a comfort. My mother had a very strong faith. Your
song put into words everything that I know she was feeling.
Thank you for such a beautiful piece. It brings tears to my
eyes everytime I hear it.
Karen, I stumbled on to your site (from Jamie Anderson’s
site) and LOVE what I’ve found here. I work in rehab at long
term care facilities and have a passion for helping
healthcare workers take better care of themselves. Your song
‘Angels in Disguise’ is perfect. I look forward to
hearing/seeing you in person the next time you’re in Kansas!
Dear Karen,
I’m not sure if you’ll remember me, but many years ago, you
and Raechel shared a lunch with my daughter, Marissa and I,
in Chattanooga, TN after one of your Unity concerts. I’ve
followed your career off and on through the years and
listened to your music always. It’s exciting to see that
you’ve expanded to motivational talks! I couldn’t think of
anyone better to motivate and share God’s perfect love with
others! I sure wish you’d bring “Little Green Bottle” to one
of your CD’s. It’s still one of my favorites. I must run
now. Husband’s hollerin’ to get to the shower. We’re
expecting guests soon. Think I’ll ring in the new year with
one of your CD’s playing! My very best wishes go out to you
for a very Happy New Year!

Just got home from your fabulous performance for the Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association Banquet, and visited your website to download “Angels In Disguise.”
What a great tribute to the Hospice people, one of which is my wife.
I can’t begin to tell you how moving the experience was for me, as I just lost my Mother in Oct. of 04. It brought the experience back and added a better touch to it all. Thank You for sharing YOUR gift with us.
We listened to your CDs on the way home and really enjoyed them.

Hello Karen
I first heard your song ‘Precious Child’ two years ago after losing my first born son at 36 and a half weeks of pregnancy. I would sit for many hours replaying Precious Child whilst the tears flowed freely. It was good to be able to sit and cry for hours, to release the sadness and emptiness I felt.
It is such a beautiful song. Thank-you!

Karen,
How can I even begin to thank you for your music, your beautiful spirit, and your hugs today! You are such a gift to this world and I am more then blessed to have met you. Your song “Precious Child” has meant so much to me since I first heard it after my son’s death. He was born still due to anencephaly on 12/18/96. Much love and light to you always.
April 29th, 2006 at 8:59 am
Karen,
I recently heard you speak at a Hospice seminar in Phoenix and you were wonderful.I purchased your music set plus book and listened to the music on my 3 hr.trip back to where we live.I have to share your message with my co-workers sometime in the near future and I doubt I do as well as you did, mainly because I do not sing.In your singing you remind me alot of Carly Simon, yes,I’m that old,if you get my drift. I am also a three year Breast Cancer survivor, and with doing hospice work I am doublely blessed. Thanks for the hug and your beautiful music.
April 29th, 2006 at 9:48 pm
I was at the Hospice Conference and loved all of your songs. Specially the OBGYN how very true. It was great to hear someone elses thoughts on dementia my mother in law had it and it was very heart breaking to see a person so full of love and life, to suddenly not know who you are or who she is. Thank You for all the great songs.
Love, Dorothy

Karen, I thank you for your wonderful prensence and present you gave us at the Hospice Volunteer Conference in Phoenix. It stood alone, yet added to the flow of the conference that allowed us to be alive for the whole event. Keep going, girl.
For somewhere I learned the “life is to death as the stream is to the ocean. The stream flows its life knowing it is going somewhere but has no read concept of the ocean until it arrives and flows into the larger purpose of its being.” I use that a lot working with spiritual people who may not be religious.
Have a wonderful life.
Much love,

I know this will be a little off topic, but since I’ve found your website I just wanted to let you know. You rendition of ‘Stay awake’ on Disney Babies’ Lullaby album has touched my family for over 13 years. First with my oldest son, and now with my youngest.
I always fall asleep with him when that song comes on. God Bless you.

We just went to a Remembrance Service for our brother Jim at Roswell Park Memorial Institute. During the service they played a song that you wrote called “Precious Child”.
It was hauntingly beautiful. Is that song on one of your CDs? I would like to obtain a copy. I already have 4 of your CDs but they do not include this song.

Hi Karen!
I saw you at the Phoenix Zoo - The conference for Hospice Caregivers and volunteers. I wanted to let you know that your show really touched me. You are one of God’s angels, that is for sure. God is using your hands, your feet, and especially your voice and smile to love his people. How blessed are you!! Thank you for your wonderful presence! I too am a singer, and would love to do what you do. Thank you for showing me how to do it!You were my angel that day! God bless you always,

Karen — You have an incredible talent, heart, and spirit. You deserve the title: “Guru” (which I know you took hesitantly). I’m a Clevelander with a sister in Austin who heard you at Unity of the Hills. She sent me one of your CDs for my 49th birthday. It’s not “just” what you sing but “how”… I often play your music when psyching up for class (I do my share of driving) or reflecting on compassion (I’m also a counseling student.) May your career and creativity and relationships continue to blossom. Digression: Your website indicated that you had an auto accident some time back. I hope that recovery has been smooth. I was initiated into “chronic pain” through an accident, and music is one of the most profound healing tools on the planet. Blessings.

Much love to you both……….I’m in Kansas City….just ate a whole lot of burnt ends (barbeque……a KC speciality.) Stuffed and ready for bed….and it’s 8pm!

Dearest Karen,
You probably don’t remember me, but a couple of years ago, I spoke with you on the phone while you were getting ready to go on another trip and ordered a half dozen of your books to give as gifts. I have all your CDs but have never had the chance to see you in person. I wish you came out East more often. I know you came to my Unity church in West Hartford before I was a member, But I’ll keep praying.
Your messages said in your lyrics and sung with such sincererity has me listening to some of my favorites daily because they lift me up when I need it. I find myself laughing outloud sometimes and no one is home. And, of course, I can always cry, softly or hysterically.
Your voice can go from soft and gentle to strong and emphatic in a split second. And the sound that comes from deep within you is so beautiful, for lack of a better word to describe it.
Thank you for sharing your gift with the world. Please continue to write and sing more songs that instill messages to all because you need to “chip away” at some souls. What a beautiful way your gift works and can continue to send messages of love and peace to the world. Congradulations on your award (which affirms your are going in the correct direction) and for already having made a major “chip” off your own statue. Sending you recordings around the world and having them so receptive to you and your words is only the beginning for you. Continue and you will soar like an eagle and fly with the angels.
Thank you again for just being you and God bless,
Christine

Just received my first e-mail re Making a World -wide splash, went to your website and found that you generously make sheet music available for sale. What I need to know is whether the music has guitar chords or not. My husband and I do a music ministry at our church and I know of several of your songs that would be very well received. Thanks
May 16th, 2006 at 5:30 pm
I get to buy more CD’s because I pass them out to friends who I sense may need to hear a particular song…..and they don’t want to give them back. Can you blame them? no.
Yours since your recordings were on audio cassette tapes.

Dearest Ron and Randy…..Great to hear from you!! Thank you. Let’s stay in touch.
Dearest Karolyn…..thank you so much for writing….I’m BACK in PA again this week! I can’t get enough of you.
Dearest Christine. Wow. Thank you. Bless you.
Dearest Janet……You rock!!!! Since the cassette days huh? Thank you. Very special.
Dearest Bonnie……..I’m checking on the guitar chords. Best thing to do is to write Taylor@karentaylorgood.com and get the answer right away!!! Thanks for writing.
I LOVE YOU ALL. Forgive the group answer. I’m in Washington, D.C……did a presentation last night for the Jewish Book Council. It was great. Off to PA this morning.
Big hugs to you all.

Hi! You will remember me from Unity of Chicago when you were just starting to make the rounds. Just to let you know you made a difference in my life Major! You sang a new song you had just written when I last saw you it went something like this “I always know what I need to know when I need to know it. Do you have that song recorded on an CD in your history. I am just growing up in Christ and I need the words to that song. It is very important to me and I know it will made a difference to the Seniors that I now serve. Mike Matoin and I always knew you would be a star some day. Too bad Mike is not around physically to actually witness this. I guess I am his stand-in for now.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for never giving up - Look how many lives you have affected. Love in Christ Always, Irene

A dear and wonderful friend of mine sent this site address to me…we communicate online as we are both bereaved parents. I buried my only two children in 2004… less than four months apart. Hi Karen
Absolutely loved hearing your interview and music tonight ( Monday 29th May ) on Marie Crichton’s ‘Country Show’ on BBC Radio Shropshire - http://www.bbc.co.uk/shropshire/music/country_playlist.shtml
What an introduction its been this month hearing 2 lovely songs from your new CD ‘How Many Women’ the first such a beautiful wedding song ‘If You Do’ with Collin Raye and track ‘You Never Said Anything About Love.
The songs played tonight ‘Deep Blue Desert Sky’ & On Angel’ Wings’ are staggeringly beautiful..so uplifting..special words ..best heard so far this year!
Lovely to hear you tell the story to how the writing of ‘How Can I Help You Say Goodbye’ came about..I’ve loved this song for years Patty Loveless’ crowning glory. The video is unforgettable such a sad song but the beauty shines through. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving the world such a beautiful song.
Hope more people check out your music. I’ve alerted fans to your interview on the BBC Message Boards. What a way for Marie to celebrate her 1st year on BBC Radio by interviewing you. Karen…Yes we LOVED it too!
Marie is a really good friend and has fantastic taste in Country Music I’m only too pleased she’s brought your beautiful songs into my life.
Every Success with the new album.
Very Best Wishes From A New and Happy fan

Dear Karen,
Heard your interview on marie Crichton’s Radio Show on BBC Shropshire and just had to write to say how beautiful the songs ‘Deep Blue Desert Sky’ & ‘On Angel’ Wings’ were. Breathtaking.
‘How Can I Help you to Say Goodbye’ is possibly the most beautiful song patty Loveless has rcorded and to hear the story behind it form the writer herself was wonderful. I moved away form home at 18 to University, then 4 years later, reluctantly moved back here for a job….both times that song has been very poignant, leaving behind people you care about.
Also as you get older and friends move away, come to visit and leave again, the song is powerful.
A friend was killed in a car accident, and a lecturer from university committed suicide…again the song takes on new levels of meaning. I’m sure as I get older it will do more so, especially as an only child….
I for one, will be looking to get soemn of your CD’s.
Hope to see you in the UK sometime soon…come to the North East when you do..
For now, love and hugs across the pond, which music always seems to make smaller thorugh its amazing ability to connect people.

Dear Karen,
I saw you at the Pennsylvania Hospice Network Conference in Hershey. You were fabulous!! I bought your CD and the song “Quiet Love” makes me cry every time. I had that kind of relationship with my father, he worked at a gas station, only I didn’t realize his love until it was too late. He died 12 years ago. I really have regrets about our relationship. I can relate to so many of your lyrics. Thanks for all your great music! I am wearing my CD out!!

Karen,
I just saw you for the 2nd time at First Unity, St. Petersburg, Fl. I brought friends with me, telling them that they wouldn’t be disappointed. They certainly weren’t and are now fans too. Your songs can take me from laughing to crying in a nanosecond. How wonderful they are. You are certainly one of God’s blessings for we “Earthlings”.
June 6th, 2006 at 10:22 pm
Dear Karen,
I’m sitting here feeling very blessed to have enjoyed your many wonderful songs that connect us all each time you have visited First Unity of St. Petersburg. Ever since hearing of your beginnings as a vocalist, I have felt a strong connection as I was a “Chick-singer”, as well for several years and now am blessed to have Laura Watts as my Music Director and friend, using me as part of our Music Ministry which fills my heart. I want you to know I’m working on overcoming the fear of asking so I may fulfill my creative dream of inspiring people as you have inspired me. Maybe not on a National/Int’l level, but within my own community, family and friends. I feel many of your songs are powerful enough to live on forever and know you will receive the recognition you truly deserve professionally, but you must know within your heart, you already are #1 with all of us! There is no age limit to your audience…just ask my 8 yr.old daughter who I know understood the meaning of a Mother’s love listening to “Heart of My Heart”(Where did You go). I know “On Angels Wings” can go all the way! But, that’s not the only one! Go with your heart on every decision every time.
Until you bless us again,
Wendy

Thank you!! I appreciate your time and your thoughts and love.
So, so much.
It’s so much fun that many of you are “over there”….not in a Spiritual sense of course….I don’t know if radio and the internet can make it THAT far yet!…..but across the oceans. We really are One, aren’t we? One family, scattered far and wide.
I send my love to each of you………and my profound thanks.

I saw you at Unity Church for Positive Living. Your song “On Angel’s Wings” helped me through my father’s illness. His stroke 10 years ago took his speech and use of his right arm. My dad made his transition June 4 of this year and your song still brings me comfort and peace. Thank you for sharing your talent.
June 15th, 2006 at 10:37 am
Dear Karen,
My husband, Mike and I have attended several IFCO shows at the Ryman over the years but this time the show was so much more special because it introduced you and your beautiful music and voice to us. We were both so touched by your story and songs that you shared. They really hit home…my mother-in-law (although not elderly) has been ill for more than 10 years (we’ve been together 9) so it was very difficult when we made our move from NY to Nashville in March considering what condition she was in. Fortunately for my husband, she had given us her blessing before her last relapse so we knew we were doing the right thing by relocating and starting a new life for us.
When the show was finished we looked for you but none of the performers were around afterwards. Mike was so happy that I noticed you signing in the Convention Center during Fan Fair. Meeting you and being able to tell you how much your performance meant to us was such a highlight for us. Karen, you are truly a gift from God and after reading all the entries in your guestbook it is so wonderful to see how many others have had the opportunity to be touched by you also.
Keep up the wonderful work…
We look forward to seeing you perform again and cannot wait to get all of your CDs. THANK YOU for the God’s Refrigerator CD, magnet and signed photo. Next time we see you we would love to get the photo of the three of us signed. Keep doing what you’re doing because it’s so important that your talents continue to be spread to the public because there are so many others that will be helped by your story and songs.
Sincerely, your newest fans and friends,
Janice (& Mike) Hamelburg of Hermitage, TN

Dear Precious Friends,
Wow. THANK YOU for your guestbook entries. Once again, they came at a great time, and they just mean the world to me.
My time at the Ryman was a high point, for sure. What a magic night that was! I’ve been looking for ways to get Angel’s Wings out there to more people, and the Ryman was the start of something big!
I’m on the road today, up in WI, and it does my heart so, so good to see that you take your time to write to me. Thank you. I am moved, and honored.
Love and kisses and hugs,

Hi Karen
I met you back about 22 years ago at your booth at Fan Fair and still have your pictures and materials from that time. I have often wondered where your career went, and I am glad that you are still recording.
When I first met you I was nineteen, and now I am 41, and working as a disc jockey for two radio stations (one is southern gospel and the other a traditional country music station). I worked Fan Fair over the past 16 years, and have been a part of a country/bluegrass booth for the last five years.
It is so good to contact you again and hope that you will be blessed throughout your life.

Glad to see you’re staying busy and successful. Hope one of these days I can catch one of your shows here in Nashville.

Dear Karen,
I have had your song, “Precious Child” on my PC for a long time, and everytime I hear it, I think and moun for my older brother, Jerry, who drowned at the age of twelve, getting his life-saving badge for Boy Scouts. I am pro-life in all aspects, and I know that this song was performed at a conference of abortion survivors and thoase who lost loved ones to abortion. May God Bless you for all that you have done and continue to do.

Karen & Dennis-
First heard of you at Tomorrow’s Hope in Jefferson, Wisconsin.
Thank you so much for all you do.
My Mother passed away from pancreatic cancer three years ago and all your songs hit homebase. Your appearance was totally awesome! Thank you so much for all you do and are continuing to do.
My daughter got one of your cd’s and had it signed. She is so proud of this. She said she got to meet a movie star and also got the signed autograph.
Just wanted to tell you thanks so much. Keep on doing such an amazing job. You are truly amazing.

Hey Karen…I just had to let you know how “awesome” it was sitting in your audience at the “Mercy Monday” fundraiser for YWCA and Gilda’s Club. I told you that I had a CD from a while back and I actually played it after I got home that night as I am so touched everytime I hear your wonderful songs! “On Angels Wings” is on the CD, as is “OBG Why Me Blues”! I love all of them, but I must tell you that one of my most favorite songs I have ever heard is “The Eleventh Commandment” which I heard sung at the Bluebird by Colin Raye and it absolutely blew me away!!!! My CD is autographed as I bought it the night you performed with Jason Blume at Radio”cafe in 2001!! I loved your music then and I love your music now! Lastly, you’ll probably think this is really lame, but when you sat at my table on Monday night….in my mind I was thinking, “Oh my gosh, Karen Taylor-Good is sitting here at my table…how amazing is that?” I was so thrilled and it was totally awsome chatting with you after the show! You are a phenomenal person Karen with an amazing talent that only the Lord could give! Thanks for sharing your gifts!

Hi,
Just spotted the weird coincidence that ‘On Angel’s Wings’ was released 9/11/2001.
I am formn England but was holidaying in the Us at that time. I was at the bottom of the twin towers on 9/9 and admirting their size from Liberty island. 9/11 found us in Boston, where we watched events unfold on tv with American poeple. I will never forget walking through Boston Common to Cheers bar watching fighter jets above…the sound of a plan above me still puts a knot in my stomach. I can still taste the Summer beer we drank as we watched events unfolding.
We watched the city shut down, it was like a ghost town. Watching Bush’s address from the marriott we all shared our sorrow, ouselves, and English waitress, NYC police and fire crews, as fighter jets circled above us.
There are numerous songs I still struggle to listen to……..as the wer played on radio with soundbites the week following as we drove New England.
I plucked up the courage to watch ‘United 93′ last week and whilst gklad I did, I have never made myself sick I’ve cried so hard at a film before.
Suddenly the song ‘On Angel’s Wings’ has a whole new meaning…….
Thanks Karen…..
All the best across the pond….
Helen

Hello Karen,
My family and I are in mourning right now, as we prepare for the funeral of my seven-month-old niece later this week. While searching the internet for possible songs for the service, I came across a recording and lyric sheet for “Precious Child” and wanted to let you know how deeply it moved me. Your beautiful song and voice touched on exactly what I’m feeling and what my sister and her husband must be going through. Thank you for sharing your gift and expressing so poignantly what it so very hard to express.
July 11th, 2006 at 4:18 pm
My family would like to thank you so much for the beautiful song ‘Precious Child’. Our little son, Chandler, passed away after a valiant and courageous two weeks of life. He died due to the shock and stress of being born two months premature. During the fourth month of pregnancy it was predicted that Chandler only had a 10-15% chance of surviving to birth. Chandler quickly proved he was a fighter by not only surviving for an amazing 29 ˝ weeks with an abnormal placenta but also the last 8 weeks with minimal to no amniotic fluid due to ruptured membranes. Amazingly, after all of this he was still able to breathe on his own for the first week of his life.
While trying to put together the program for his funeral I desperately wanted to find some poem or saying that would indicate our love for our little son and how much he meant to us. I discovered the lyrics to your song and then heard the beautiful tune that went with it. Since this was the night before his funeral there was no way I could request permission to play the song or list it but we gave you full credit for the lyrics and music.
I believe that God works in mysterious ways and that you obviously were inspired to write the song for not only your family but also for thousands, even millions of other grieving families. Thank you for developing your talent and sharing it with the world.
While Chandler may not have returned safely to our house, we take refuge in knowing that he is truly, safely home.

I have had the honor of meeting you twice Karen, both times at Hospice conventions in Florida. I found you to be very warm and sincere. You performed several of your songs for us, and I came away both times with a renewed sense of purpose and a feeling that my work was appreciated.
Thank you,

Hi Karen.
Got a promo email from Martha Moore announcing your CD single release. I wish you much luck with the airplay.
I have come to firmly believe that one of the sad truths about the music biz today is that cream does not rise to the surface. It has to be promoted as heavily as the crap.
I lost my mother to Alzheimers just a few short years ago. At the end, she did not know me, or anyone for that matter. I experienced lots of pain for a long time. Long before she died.
Keep on doing what you believe in.

Hi Karen…I’ve just been introduced to you by my daughter, Melissa, who lives in LA. She was so blessed by your visit recently. God’s timing is impecable. My mom, her Nana, is in her final journey with Primary Progressive Aphasia and your song ‘On Angel’s Wings’ has touched our hearts. She sent me your book with CD and I’ve shared it with my office buddies etc. and will be ordering my two sisters their copies. Thank you so much for sharing not only your talents but your heart too. You are an amazing lady! Thank you, too, for giving my daughter the extra time at church that day. May all you give come back tenfold. Thanks for the smiles!

Dear Karen,
We (my husband David and I) heard you today on “Live from Studio C”. How refreshing! Thank you for a lovely interlude of music. Your vocals are so expressive, and the piano accompaniment was exquisite!
I am hoping to find the words to “On Angel’s Wings” somewhere to send to my cousin in Illinois. His mom passed away yesterday after 5-7 years of advanced senility. Of course, it became much worse after his dad died 3 years ago. When I heard your song, I immediately thought of my cousin, and how your words might offer him some solace. Are the words available anywhere? Thanks.
We look forward to seeing you in person sometime, as we live in the Nashville area. Adrienne

*–>Plus, I do think you have an excellent website. Thank you very much, Karen, Blessings to you.

Karen: We met several years ago when you were the keynote for Casa de la Luz Hospice educational conference in Tucson. I wrote your educational objectives for you for the conference and you, you touched my soul. I have all your CD’s from then and have had many uplifting hours listening. I have just registered to become a practitioner using Radical Forgiveness and imagine how I felt when I visited the site and saw your connection. Synchronicity. Yes, we are all one. Thank you for being you, I llok forward to our paths crossing again someday. Love and blessings, Pamela

Dear sweet people who have signed my guest book,
Thank you!! It’s so wonderful to read your messages. You have no idea how much it means to me.
Every time I’m in a funk and wondering why God didn’t make me a brain surgeon, or a college professor (with tenure!), or ANY job with security and benefits, etc……..I’ll look here and read your comments, and remember that what I’m doing is right, and perfect, and exactly what I’m supposed to be doing. So, thank you. You move me. You
keep me going. And I love you.

Karen, I thoroughly enjoyed your Live in Studio C broadcast. You have a wonderful style and great sense of purpose in your writing and singing. Having two young sons, the bentley brothers, that area attempting to break into the business I see that they have a long way to go to be at your level. But they too are their best when they touch on those inner feelings and emotions that drive all of us.
thanks

Hi Karen, I met you at IBI, I don;t know if you remember me or not but I was the one that was so touched by your song On Angels Wings. You had told me at the time, I could use your song as I am on the Iowa Board for Alzheimer Association. I told my board about your song since we are begining our Memory Walks in the next 2 weeks and would like to share your song with everyone donating their time for a cure. Apparantly I need your written permission for this to happen. Would you please give me your blessings and get your song out there. I would be happen to sell CD’s for you also at these events. Thank You Linda Forthmann

Dear Karen,
Just found your wonderful music quite by accident. Bought a stack of cd’s at an auction.that had two of yor cd’s in it..
I am hooked, ran out and bought three more copies of each to send to my grown children. Unfortunately they were not familiar with your music, When I tried to describe to them what I was sending them, had to laugh at myself because I am not usually at a loss for words but I found myself stuttering “its not religious, no I mean not preachy,
its awesomly spiritually uplifting..”.my kids think I am losing it…..and they won’t understand until they listen. Thank God for your great talent and sharing with us.

Karen, hello! I’m Pamela, from the Radical Forgiveness group of many years back; Colin’s first coach’s trainer apart from himself. I still facilitate Miracles and share your music with new fans. I thought you should know that out of sight is definately not out of mind (well, ok, some of us are more out of our minds than others, but …).
I hope all is well with you and Dennis; I think of you and send a prayer outward each time I hear your songs. I’m thrilled to hear you’re back on the radio with Angel’s Wings and will put in a few requests with my Atlanta stations.
Much love and many smiles; in joy,
Pamela

Hey Karen! You came to John Muir today and you were AWESOME!!! I wish you could come again and I loved all of your songs. You really inspired me to write my own songs and sing more. (By the way, I’m the one who sang Kinder), I LOVED the presentation, and you ROCKED!!!

P.S. I hope your doctors appointment went well. It would really stink if you got a bug. Good luck!

Dear Karen I have a friend who sufferd a rugged case of parent abuse and I have not seen her since then and after reading A child called it and i became teary eyed and then i thoght maybe it would be a good idea for a song i know it would be hard due to the fact that it is not from personal experince(at least i hope not) just an idea.
That was a great performence at jm today i hope you could come agin someday.
The song help me say goodbye reminded me of saying good bye to my greatgrandpa he was dying and he had a typ of elz hieghmers and the last time i saw him he did not remember my name it was like talking to a stranger.
September 21st, 2006 at 7:55 pm
sry pressd button but the song kinder reminded me of a kid that was often picked on one day i had the chance to stop the kids from picking on him but i was afraid that they would pick on me then. Last year this kid died whene he was ran over by a bus so every time i see him i am left with the reminder of that scean
so any way thanks for that special presintation today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 21st, 2006 at 8:29 pm
the song kinder spoke to me today about some of my friends getting picke on and me too sometimes. i think everyone gets picked on except the popular kids at out school. i think it will help the bullies understand that u shoudln’t make fun of people because of how they look thank you. i liked your songs a lot i almost cried because of your songs you sang. this other person almost did, too. that was a good song. also, i had a quesion me and my friend grace wanted to ask someone where to get your songs recorded, because we have this song that’s good we think and we want to be singers. thanks for comming to john muir. bye again. and thanks
September 21st, 2006 at 8:46 pm
the song help me say good bye reminded me of my aunt she died in a car crash , my great grandma died of old age, and my godmother died of a heart attack when i was 3. my great grandma and my aunt died like 2 years ago. the most thing i remember of my godmother was she always taped nickles and change on my card and she sent it. when i got it i always started taking the coins off and it was fun at my age. my grandpa just got heart surgery, too. that’s what the song help me say goodbye reminded me off. that’s the song i mostly had tears in my eyes. thanks for comming and teaching me and reminding me those times.. u taught me by saying that we’re no better than anyone else and i respect that i hope everyone does. thanks for comming!
September 21st, 2006 at 8:53 pm
sorry i write a lot! it’s just that i’m talking about what those songs teach me of and remind me and there was this kid on the bus last year Brandon Pippenger he was on my bus and he got ran over, but anyway he was always so funny, he always told jokes and he made the bus sort of glow with joy and happiness, now there’s none of that and that song help me say goodbye reminded me of that, too. so thanks again!

Dear Karen,
Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to talk with Team 7-1 at John Muir MIddle School. Your words and music were very inspirational to our students, and I see some of them have responded to you on their own. I appreciated not only your fine musicianship, but the significance of the lyrics you shared. It’s important for our students to understand the importatnce of writing revisions, and your message about perserverence and believing in yourself is timely for students of this age in particular. Your visit will not be forgotten anytime soon, and I suspect we may even see “Kinder” gestures as our students interact this school year.
Again, thanks for starting our year on such a thoughtful, positive “note!”
Sincerely,
Beth Lind

Hi Karen,
Just wanted you to know how you have blessed my life. You were just our guest at the benefit for our Hospice program in Rhinelander, WI on 9/24/06 -9/26/06. My kids “Love” -Get a bigger pan and because God has also blessed me with the gift of song, I will be singing -”Strong” at my grandson’s christening this coming weekend. I am a Hospice nurse and as I told you, it took me 24 years to find my calling. Oh well, Now there is no going back -I’ll never be the same and I LOVE the blessings God has given me through my patient’s and their families. Keep up your wonderful work and always remember “Don’t ever look back -life is too short to regret”. God’s blessings to you and your TEAM!!!
September 28th, 2006 at 1:47 am
Karen,
Just to let you know we’re thinking of you back here in Hodag country. He’s been dancing outside lately and we’re not sure why. Something about a song in his head. What a gift you are when you pass through and share yourself and your music with those you meet. This was an especiallly great time, with our two first Gift of Hospice events in Rhinelander. You are the hot fudge in all of it. You know, the good thing about change is the things in our lives that don’t - the love of God, our family and friends and the things that keep us anchored when the winds of change blow. You’re unchanging in that respect, and it’s the things in our heart we hold on to when life around us is moving in other directions. Thanks for being you, take care and see you in the snail mail.
September 28th, 2006 at 3:54 pm
Hi Karen,
I heard you to sing the song on the CD of Colin C. Tipping “I forgive you, me” and I must tell you, this was my first situation to say “yes, this could be heaven….”. My situation is also full of music because I’m a musician too (singer, guitar and so on) and I’m very happy that I had the opportunity to listen you with your phantastic song! You had really good vibrations, energy and the feelin which I prefer in this matter!
I’m was surprised, that you have a handsome and really open face!
Thank you for your nice performance. Good bless you!
Best regards to you,

Hi karen,
Im a highschool student in the Netherlands. Maybe you think, hmm what has a highschoolstudent from the Netherlands to do with me? but…with our class we sang Real. The song “about the wooden boy”, and we sang it for the program of Colin Tipping. With the singing of our song, we’re trying to get him to the Netherlands because we’re the only country that he does not visit on his European tour.
I looked you up on the www because I love your song of Real. It’s really good and I want to congratulate you with your succes!
With Kind Regards,
Casper Minderhout

Dear Karen,
I’m also a highschool student from the Netherlands. We did sang Real, because it’s so beautifull! We filmed the singing, and are going to send it to Colin in some way.
We hope he will be able to come to our school to tell us about his philosophy.
your music is really beautifull!
I will check out some more music of yours when I have the money.
Best regards,

Arrived home yesterday (home’s Lakeland FL) from Anaheim’s ABWA leadership conference - you were awesome!!! To say the least. We want to bring you to Lakeland for a fund-raiser for our new foundation: Phoenix HOPE Foundation. I will be in contact. Our foundation just received 501(c)3 status and we’ll be building a home and setting up a counselling center for youth who have graduated our STAR Program (formerly boot camp). We’re the only program left in Florida and this will be the first such venture to help the boys who are homeless when they graduate or although successful will have to return to an environment that got them in the STAR program. Alcoholic and drug families as well as violence. These boys do not want to go back to that and fail. We have not had a fund-raiser as yet and we have no seed money. We just had a reception to introduce our program to the area and will be issuing press releases to area newspapers. We now have a brochure (that was sponsored) and have written a few grant requests. We will send all the information you need and check your schedule.
October 4th, 2006 at 5:40 am
HI Karen.
a message to tell you that your songs have been introduced at a Gym in the Netherlands. Lots of students are fond of “real” and singing it!! Thanks for your wonderfull voice, lyrics and music.
October 4th, 2006 at 9:27 am
Karen,
It was a pleasure meeting you and talking to you at the ABWA National Conference in Anaheim. I must say that you had so many people in the audience on an emotional rollercoaster ride while listening to your inspirational messages and songs. There was much that you had to say that hit home for me as we lost a 12 year old son in 2002, lost a grandmother in 2004. So, there were many tears of joy and sadness during your presentation. I am so very glad that you came to our event because you touched so many lives and you made many of us think about life, happiness, letting go and accepting the fact that our loved ones will always be missed, but are always in our hearts until we are able to meet them again.
We would love to find out if we could also set up a local seminar to have you speak to other women in our area who weren’t able to attend the National Conference in Anaheim.
Thanks again for what you do and look forward to hearing more of your songs.
God Bless,
Heidi Eldridge

Hi Karen,
we (students of the ST. Ursula school in Horn (Netherlands)) like to thank you for your wonderful song real. In a special project for our musicclass we taped the song to show how interrested we are in living the text. Maybe in the next time we’ll be able to send you our video-message. For now: thank you, and hope to see you soon in the Netherlands.

Karen, just saw you at the ABWA conference in Anaheim and you were wonderful. bought your book and the CD (Song Guru) Just Sorry”bless your heart”wasn’t on there. Our group had such fun with that on the way home. I’ve always said it, being a good Abilene, Texas girl, but now when I do, I’ll remember the lovely lady with the wonderful voice that touched my heart and my soul so deeply. Thank you for your beautiful music. How blessed we were to have you at our conference.

Hi Karen,
We have just been on a healing week in NSW Australia. It’s a safe place for survivors of childhood trauma (all abuse etc), run by Survivors. Your music featured prominently and one of your songs is the theme song of the place!! It was a truly life saving experience, and we want to thank you from our heart for your music, the only way we could find a path to our true spirit.
When are you coming to Australia??
Love and blessings,

Hi Karen
I had the priveledge of hearing you at the UHPCO convention here in Salt Lake City on Thursday. You not only did a fabulous presentation, but you touched my heart. Saturday was the 1st anniversary of my mother’s death and your music went right to where I was hurting. It was a pleasure to meet you. I helped with the sale of your materials after your presentation. You talked about finding on your website about a fundraising deal you are involved in. I couldn’t see that on your website. Please let me know where I might find this information.
Thanks for all you are doing to promote the work of hospice.

I live in Nashville (Fairview actually) (my husband is a college music teacher and a hard working artist/studio musicain/bassist and all around good man & wonderful husband) and I happened to be driving down the road and heard you on a radio spot singing “”I’ll be there for you”. I was absolutely riveted. When I could dry the tears from my eyes I scribbled down your name in hopes of finding you some day. Gee I wish I could write my heart like that!
In my younger days I was a singer-songwriter although not a commercial songwriter as is so prevelant in Nashville today. It was just what I happened to be doing at that moment in time…I had no thoughts of being in the industry-in fact, I don’t think there was much of an industry back then. Nashville was almost a ghost town back in the 70’s and early 80’s.
I got side tracked somewhere along the way but never lost my desire to write. Now at mid-life I have cleared the boards to do just that. I hope to create & document a small body of work-just to say I did! And just to play for my family & friends and any poor soul who might need some comic relief!
I feel so blessed-full of spark-and not song writing skill to my name! Here I sit in this town of awesome songwriters and with only my “fly by the seat of my pants” skills. I think that is an awesome challenge for a gal at mid-life! I just intend to have some fun with it. As they say, this is my life and not a dress rehearsal.
I could use some inspiration at this time in my life. I need to be around fearless creators with great heart & love. You convey in your music what I wish I could convey in mine.
Looking forward to meeting you in the hopes that I will find my voice too! In some small way I hope to leave something good behind when the race is finally run.
Thanks for being such a shining light-
Dee Dee

Dear Karen,
My husband and I lost our first born son on June 11, 2006. I was seven months pregnant and when I went to the doctors for a normal visit they said our sweet son Jacob Raymond had no heart beat. It breaks my heart everyday not having him here. A gal from our suport group told us about your song “Precious Child” I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing such a beautiful song. I listen to it often, and every time I do it brings tears to my eyes. The pain of losing our son is like no other that I have felt before. Precious Child is exactly what Jacob is to us, and every last word of that song is true. Thank you so much for giving us a way to express how we feel for our beloved son.
Love,
Jenny & Scott

My daughter, Lily, died a year ago this month. The cantor at our church sang your song, “Precious Child”. I purchased the CD and listen to it almost daily. For the child not to have been yours, but rather you nephew, you have an incredible insight into what it feels to have lost a child. My Lily was only a month shy of being 3 years old. She was ill with cancer or some other aweful disease. She was perfectly healthy and went to sleep to never wake again.
Thank you for writing “Precious Child”!

Dear Karen,
What a fabulous addition you were to the just completed Radical Empowerment Cruise!! I cannot now imagine having been there without you. Everyone felt your love and support, not to mention the fact that they enjoyed your concert and your fabulous talent as an entertainer. But it was your heart that mattered most - and you were REAL!!! It was wonderful to get to know you better and to meet and spend time with Dennis as well. My calendar is marked for your January 26 appearance at Unity Dallas, and I’ll see you there.
Love & Blessings,
Karla

Hello again Karen & Dennis,
It was great to see you again this past weekend in New Port Richey, Florida at the hospice seminar. I was so grateful that you were near for me to bring my friend, Donna from Lakeland. She has been through alot over the years with also losing a nephew who was 3 and murdered and a son 12 years old within 5 years of each other. So, as you know I didn’t tell her where I was taking her. I don’t know that she would have gone had I told her. She loved the song “My precious child” and “On Angels Wings”.
I feel that you have touched her heart just the way that you have touched mine and many others. You are real, warm, talented, inspiring and beautiful and we just love that about you.
Thanks again for all that you do and we hope to bring you to the small town of New Smyrna Beach, Florida near Daytona Beach so you can share to others in our area.

Hi Karen,
I went to the Players Theater in Sarasota yesterday to hear your program for Hospice volunteers. It was wonderful and touched my heart in so many ways. Keep up your great work and I will help spread the word about you to everyone I can. The message of Hospice is love and caring, and you embrace that so well.

Hi Karen…I am a Tidewell/Hospice Social Worker and attended your concert at the “Players” in Sarasota Florida!!! Thank you for taking the risks in your life to write all those songs and then send messages via music which I always believe has more impact than therapy itself sometimes!!! It was a wonderful tribute to our work in Hospice which is really a wonderfully joyful job the best I have ever had as a social worker/therapist….I too have an aging mother and as a caregiver of my mother, my job, and a daughter recovering from cancer ,,,,your songs say it all!!!! My spouse and I play guitar and sing and would love to learn some of your songs for our own good…you have done things I have dreamed of and thank you for sharing your talents and bravery with others…You seem to be so “real” and share what we all want to say at some time or another and put our thoughts to a song which is a wonderul vehicle to help people remember the ideas through a catchy song!!! Would love to hear you sing again….thank you for your gift and for sharing it. May your “Journey in life” continue to lead you to what matters most in life. Sincerely, Madelyn Balitz LCSW

Dear Karen,
I heard you sing last evening in Sioux City, IA for the “Gift of Hospice..Making Every Moment Matter”. You were awesome as always and truly touched the hearts and souls of all who attended. You have such a gift and thank you so for sharing it with those of us in Hospice. With your help and passion, maybe someday everyone will come to know and realize that Hospice can make such a difference at end-of-life! I came right home to download the “Angels in Disguise” and was so moved that I plan to play it at the beginning of our Hospice team meeting this Wednesday morning as a tribute to our staff! You are doing such an important ministry and I hope that you continue to share your gifts of song, love and compassion with us!

Dear Karen and Staff,
Prescious Child was the ending song at my two year old daughters funeral. Compassionate friends has had a website mishap and the words are no longer available.
I have purchased your CD but cannot bring myself to write down the lyrics while I listen to it.
Could you please email the lyrics?

I heard you for the first time in Phoenix at the Hospice gathering. I fell in love with your singing as did so many others. you were very tired then, as you had just come from another performance, but you still gave it your all, and were so gracious to us, so naturally I fell in love with you too!
I bought two of your CDs and your book. I would like to order three more of your CDs for my daughter and daughters in law for Christmas but don’t know how. I thought I could do it on line, but can’t find a place to place an order. I would like to order two of your Song Guru CDs and one with the song “Get a Bigger Pan” in it. (I’ve played it so much that I lost the CD cover so I don’t know the real CD title) Can you tell me how to find them? I would be so grateful. Sincerely, Joani

Dear Karen,
I am a hospice nurse in Franklin Tn . I just checked out your site. Thank you for the kudos …
I read where you are trying to get your songs heard .There is a new website that is creating a directory of established local songwriters allowing their favorite songs not yet cut( for one reason or another) to be heard by the industry, established artists and the public. The website is Nashville On Hold.com . The present writers are Essra Mohawk and Craig Karp.
I met Molly today in current affairs @ NHC…we had a lovely chat. I also gave Molly a card regarding this revolutionary website. God BlessYou. GG Osborne

This morning caught you on the Joey Reynold’s Show on my way into work and heard your song, “She’s Gonna Fly” and it touched me and wanted you to know. My 2 sisters and I, mostly my 2 sisters, are caring for my elderly mom trying to keep her at home and also I sing at church and sometimes it includes funerals and I thought what a song of hope to sing in that situation, too, for a mom who has passed on. And lastly, though I never heard of you before even if I may have heard you and did not know it was you, what a great voice and singer you are…

Dear Karen:
I recently lost my mother to brain cancer and during her illness and subsequent death your song On Angels Wings has been such a comfort. My mother had a very strong faith. Your song put into words everything that I know she was feeling. Thank you for such a beautiful piece. It brings tears to my eyes everytime I hear it.

Karen, I stumbled on to your site (from Jamie Anderson’s site) and LOVE what I’ve found here. I work in rehab at long term care facilities and have a passion for helping healthcare workers take better care of themselves. Your song ‘Angels in Disguise’ is perfect. I look forward to hearing/seeing you in person the next time you’re in Kansas!

Dear Karen,
I’m not sure if you’ll remember me, but many years ago, you and Raechel shared a lunch with my daughter, Marissa and I, in Chattanooga, TN after one of your Unity concerts. I’ve followed your career off and on through the years and listened to your music always. It’s exciting to see that you’ve expanded to motivational talks! I couldn’t think of anyone better to motivate and share God’s perfect love with others! I sure wish you’d bring “Little Green Bottle” to one of your CD’s. It’s still one of my favorites. I must run now. Husband’s hollerin’ to get to the shower. We’re expecting guests soon. Think I’ll ring in the new year with one of your CD’s playing! My very best wishes go out to you for a very Happy New Year!
