CommentsHello Karen,
I just returned from a Mircacles Workshop with Colin Tipping in Atlanta, where
he of course used a lot of your songs. During the workshop, your
"Precious Child" song was played especially for me and it was so
powerful. I've just been listening to it again online through the
Compassionate Friends site and it moves me so much ... and helps me
process the release of the grief in my body. Thank you for your music
and the sharing of your message. I'd love to be on your mailing list if
you have one.
In gratitude and radical forgiveness,
Linda Miller

CommentsKaren I absolutely love your site and your music. I found it thru a friend of mine who just came back from a Radical Forgiveness workshop and they did Precious Child for her. I was stunned at the beauty and the wisdom of that song as it applies to me also. Thank you from my heart, Mary

CommentsHowdy!
This is Brent from Victoria,TX. Within the past couple of weeks I purchased a copy of "Live at Mile Hi" The Sanctuary Sessions: Vol. 1 (2001), and noticed that one the songs on it was your self-written song "Kinder", which was recorded during your performance at Mile Hi Church in west Denver, COLO. (which Im sure youll agree with me when I say they are a "lively" bunch!). U wrote in response to the Columbine H.S.
tragedy. I thought it was so inspirational..and it had your website address on the CD cover, so I had to just log on and write my heartfelt message here!...WOW!...what a gift! I wish many more people in this
chaotic world we live in would follow the message of that song and be a little more "kinder". (Thats something I firmly believe we are lacking nowadays.). Anyway, I enjoy playing that song and hopefully look forward to seeing U in Houston,tx (just down the road from Victoria) on Aug. 27 at "nashvillemusic2U" concert Sat. night. Thanks for that song, and keep the music notes flowin'. Blessings, Brent

Comments"Precious Child" inspired me sooo much. I lost my son in Jan. 04 and have been putting off my grieving process. After listening to this song I think I am finally able to start this process. It is an absolutely beautiful song that says it all. Thank you so much.

Karen, I want to say Thank You first. I saw you in Mobile, Alabama on
August 22 at The Unity Church, and your light changed my life. Some
things I told you already and some things I will hold close to my heart
and let your words with Spirit's wisdom continue to heal me. I loved
every second of your sermon. With you, God "Blessed My Heart" You are
incredibly talented and I am so happy to see you are changing lives with
the gifts God gave you. May God continue to Bless You and everyone in
your path. Thank You, Krystal Ackerman Mobile, Alabama

CommentsDearest Karen- This is Bobbi Jo . Me and my husband had lost our twin boys through me delivering them at five months gestation three months ago. This has really tore us up. The song that you have, Precious Child really describes what I am feeling . I cry all the time when I hear it, but It makes it a little easier knowing someone is out there to help heal those people who are mourning the loss of their babies. I thank you so very much for your caring heart. Please respond back if possible.

CommentsHi Karen! I was at the show you did in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. I have 2 of your CD's signed by you. I loved your concert! I think it would be awesome if you would be willing to come to my school and sing the song "KINDER" or if you would let us play it at an assembly. I live in Plainfield, Wisconsin. I am in 8th grade, I am 13,and I go to Tri-County middle school. I think our school is terrible on the
harassment. We have so many kids that get picked on and i happen to be one of them but my case is not as bad as others.

This is Brent from Victoria,TX. Just wanted u to know I was blessed at being able to hear u speak/sing at Unity Church of North Houston at the end of this past August. CONGRATS!! I will be looking for it. You definitely know how not only to be heard but "felt". Thanks a mil, & as far as Im concerned, consider me a friend in spirit!!!

What a healing salve your music and spirit are. Your songs have helped me deal with my father's stroke at 64. What an active man reduced to a life so different that what he hoped retirement would be. I'll remind my mother about the oxygen mask too as she's his primary care-giver. Thanks again for always being there and continued health, happiness, peace and love to you. CommentsDear Karen,
My name is Jeannine Stus, aka "Jinx". A good friend of mine lost her 18 year old daughter in a truck accident last week, and I was asked to sing at the memorial.I, like you am also a singer/songwriter. I couldn't think of anything to sing for a young persons death, so I went to "search" and typed in "funeral song + child". Your song "Precious Child" came on, and as I sat and listened to it, I was totally overwhelmed. I learned it on the guitar and played and sang it at the memorial. People came up to me afterwards, hugging me and crying and saying how beautiful the song was. They thought I had written it, because 22 years ago, I also lost my 5 year old daughter. But I told everyone how I came upon your songand how to find you online. I think you have a beautiful voice and I look forward to checking out more of your songs. Who knows? Maybe our paths will cross someday:)
Thank-you so much for the use of your song,
Jinx.

CommentsDear Karen ... It is indeed difficult to believe that it's Christmas Eve once more. Where does the time go? A couple of blinks of the eye and yet another year seems to have vanished like magic in the wind. Just wanted to send along best wishes from the Stewart family for a wonderful holiday season and a great, great New Year. Hope you, Dennis, Rachael and your folks have the best year possible. Seems like only yesterday, but it was December 25th, 1998 when I first contacted you and you so kindly responded. Our friendship and our songs have evolved tenfold since then and I treasure both with all my heart. Thank you for taking a chance on me. Every time I listen to our creations I can't help but think that eventually they'll find a home. Perhaps 2005 will finally be our year. I hope so. Much love and appreciation ... your pal DES.

CommentsMy Dearest Karen,
I am a bereaved mother of 3 and a half years. My Eric, was 22. He was my soulmate, and he brought a special sunshineinto my life. Without Eric, I didn't want to go on living. It has been a strugggle everyday. I know this will be the price I have to pay for such intense love for the rest of my life. I wouldn't trade a moment of the time I had with him, for a painfree
moment now. I belong to The Compassionate Friends in Rockville Centre,
Long Island. It has helped me to cope and survive. It is there I first
heard your song, "Precious Child". It spoke to the depth of my soul. I
played this at his unveiling a year later. I was so grateful that you
could put into words what I so deeply felt. I now take your music to the
cemetery and feel it is a special time to share with my son. I am
eternally grateful to you for your beautiful music. Hearing it always
makes my tears flow, but my heart is nourished. May you be blessed. With
my love and appreciation.

CommentsI saw your show at the Spirit in Business Conference in NYC, 2002. After your performance I realized that you were the reason I had to be there! I bought 5 of your 'On Angel's Wings' CD's and gave them to friends and family as gifts. I have a picture of us together. For my friends the words of the songs were too intense. For my family, they couldn't get enough of your songs. My oldest daughter was 14 at the time, my youngest daughter is 14 now. They both love your songs and recognize the truth in them. My mother was 93 and didn't know me anymore. She let go of a lot of baggage and passed away in 2003. Everyone of your songs plucked at a sensitive string on my heart. Thank you KTG. Your music and words are a great healing, joyful source of inspiration to so many people. If I was richer I would order so many of your CD's and send them to so many people. For now, I just share mine with many. Keep up the good work Karen. You have definitely found your reason for being! Love and hugs, Alice van der Hoek, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

CommentsKaren,
What can I say about Preicios Child that has not already been said? It is an absolutely beautiful song. My cousin lost her 6 month child a few years back, and I on the 25th of March- Good Friday. My darling little girl was almost 3 months old. As of now her death is still unknown. She was perfectly healthly.
My cousin gave me this song for the funeral, and I can not tell you how
much it has helped me. It is everything I think and feel...Maybe one day
I will be able to listen to it without crying, but I do have to say I
always feel so much better after listening to it and knowing I am not
alone. Do you have any songs that relate to a loss of a parent? I lost
my mom suddenly last year on the 11th of this month, which was Easter
last year. Needless to say it has been an extremely hard year for me. I
was looking at you schedule, and I see that you are coming to Houston
this Sunday. I do not know it you will read this before then, but if so
where is it you are going to be/ time? Thank you for your time...Daisy

CommentsDear Karen,
I heard you for the first time last spring in Erie at the Pennsylvania hospice network. Since then I have been listening to you and gave some of your CD's for X mas presents. A few months ago I saw the librarian from PennState, Fayette campus at a Christian book store. I know she is on the planning committee for Penn State's womens day and asked who the keynote speaker was and when she said they hadn't picked one yet I gave her your name. I am thrilled you will be with us. Even more thrilled is our hospice volunteer coordinator who is doing one of the workshops. She was in Erie too. So now she is amazed to be on the same brochure as you.
Bring lots of CD's and please do the obgyme blues.
