CommentsShalom Karen -
I didn't know you existed until your agent sent me an e-mail today. I haven't heard your music or read any of your book, but I wanted to reach out none the less.
I notice that you will be in Portland, Oregon in April. The small Jewish Renewal Community that I belong to, P'nai Or, would love to invite you to our services on Friday evening or Shabbat morning. Perhaps we could even plan a Havdalah. I would also be very happy to let folks know that you will be in the area on Sunday.
You can get in touch with me via email at awinter@nutech.com.
Best wishes,
Yehudah Winter

CommentsI just wanted to say thank you. I love the song "Precious Child" I first heard that song a few days before my son passed away in 2001 and ever since then its just amazing how much I felt like that song was exactly what I was feeling and I've been playing it a lot since he passed away and I cry every time but it makes me feel better.

CommentsHello from Vermont. Dean-land. I just listened again to Heart Of My Heart (Where Did You Go).
Oh my! How wonderful, and sad and true. May I put your song on my website? www.momsongs.com. I am soon to redesign and want to put real mom songs on the front page rather than my originals. I'll be learning more about you. I heard your song on HOPE, (mothers helping mothers). Wonderful! Thanks, Carol Abair

CommentsKaren,
I saw you for the first time this November in Las Vegas at the National Convention for the American Business Women's Association. WHAT A LIFE ALTERING EVENT! Your words were so incredibly beautiful. I was especially touched by the words to "On Angels Wings". My grandmother suffers from Alzhiemers. She is in the final stages and those words helped me understand. I've shared those words with other members of my family and they have felt the same understanding. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your beautiful songs. I've enjoyed them for years and not ever had the opportunity to see from whom they came. I am just thrilled that I will see you again at more ABWA events this spring.
THANKS AGAIN for your inspiration and incredible words.

CommentsKaren,
I really enjoy the music you have written. I particularly enjoy the songs that Collin Raye has recorded. Is there any way that I could buy sheet music for A Mother and Father's Prayer and When You Say Your Prayers? I would like to use them in church services and with my youth choir. I have been searching and I have been unable to find them for sale. PLease respond to dfeeney@velocity.net. Thank you.

CommentsKaren,
You are a wonderful inspiration in this day and age. Your music is very touching and gives such a great message. I was first introduced to your music many years ago, when you must have been "trying on the country music hat." The local radio station, WWVA, played a song of yours called 'Tenderness Place' which I loved and immediately called the Wheeling station to see how I could get a copy. I got the 45 record, and the flip-side was also wonderful. I've looked and looked for these songs on CD format, as I've completely worn out my old 45rpm record. Where can I get them. I've told our pastor about that flipside song, "When the Churchbells Stop Ringing," and he said he'd love to do a sermon on that very message. Is there any way to get a copy or some sheet music for these songs? I could almost hear our church choir come alive with that music, if I could only find it somewhere. I've checked different music stores and all over online. I'd gladly pay for a copy if I could only get one. It's a message that many in our little community church need to hear; I think it would help to make them listen.

CommentsDear Karen
I recently took the Radical forgiveness workshop with Colin Tippin and afterward purchased the cd with your songs on it. I particularly like the one about Healing (I can't remember the title). My husband died 6 months ago and I am in the process of healing. So, thank you for that song.

CommentsHello Karen,
I lost my 18 year old son, Daniel, December 14, 2001. Your song "Precious Child" brings me to tears. It touches me to know that someone has put to words the feelings I have for my son. My husband and I attend TCF meetings and I understand you wrote the song for this organization. I hope you know how much this song means to so many. I am listening to it as I type and am having a hard time typing through the tears. I know my son lives in Heaven with Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
May God bless you for the love and hope you give with each of your songs. You are an inspiration for those who have lost loved ones.
I live in Nashville and would love to hear you in person.

CommentsDear Karen,
I heard you and you signed my book at the Unity in Ft. Lauderdale a week ago Sunday.
I have been listening to the CDs almost daily and am so grateful that you have shared your thoughts and songs with the world.
I have had "a lot of Pain to make me strong" and keep getting "nos". Hearing you sing about it makes it feel "all better" somehow, just knowing that many of us feel the same way. "God's Refrigerator" can't help but cheer me up.
I said "Yes to life" when you were here and know thinks will start happening. I mentioned to you that I was starting a new business. Your message is helping me through another one of "those character building experiences".
I love your music and it is makes this Texas girl in Ft. Lauderdale feel right at home.
Thank you for sharing your message and your talent.
God Bless,
Diane Delorey

CommentsI saw you and heard you sing in Nashville about 6 months ago. I purchased your "On Angel's Wings" CD and fell in love with each song. I gave it to my Daughter-in-Law whose friend had lost her husband in a tragic accident. I decided instead of asking for it back I would get another one. At the time I heard you my Mother was having deteriorating health. Well, last Friday morning she died. I sang the refrain to her several times. I sang her Mass. I still remember the refrain. Thank you for your help in dealing with all that happens in a family.

CommentsKaren,
I saw you at the National ABWA Convention in Las Vegas last November. I bought all of your CD's, the book and several bracelets. You and your music touched my heart and I am so glad I got to hear you as a keynote speaker and at the seminar you conducted. I had my picture taken with you and it is on my mantle.
I am sorry that I will not be attending either of the ABWA Spring Conferences you will be attending, but I do hope you will be at other ABWA events so I can have the pleasure of hearing you again.
You are an amazing woman and I am better off for having shared your music with you.
Thank you, so much.

CommentsHi Karen!
I just returned from our Spring Conference in Long Beach with ABWA and I just wanted to tell you how wonderful your presentation was. I love your humor and your songs are beyond what words can describe.
As I told you after the show while you were signing my friends book...I lost my Mom not too long ago and your "On Angels Wings" song was very comforting and encouraging. Thanks for the memory and I will be listening for your songs on the radio and looking for you on Oprah!

CommentsKaren,
I would be a lousy songwriter because I can't find the words to express the gratitude I have for you and the other songwriters who played in Crossville, TN Saturday night. The local Hospice is very grateful and it was a very memorable night. PLEASE come back when we build our Hospice House. Thanks

CommentsI wanted to firstly say a huge thankyou to Karen's manager, Taylor Sparks for being so patient and persistant in trying to send me the notes to Karen's song 'precious child'.. It meant the world to me to be able to sing it for my baby's memorial.
No words would really be able to describe my gratitude or emotions when I came upon this song. It has touched me in more ways than I could express.
Thank you Karen, you are a godsent. Please know your music has touched many hearts in Australia aswell. GOD BLESS :o)
Sincerely Chantelle.

CommentsHi Karen,
I thought your letter/message was just like talking to you. Sounds like you've had some busy scheduling recently while you were in Greensboro, NC, that is very close to Rocky Mount, NC. Well, sort of.
I was in Alameda, CA for the birth of a new Grand Daughter for a month & missed about 2 or 3 snows that NC got this year (mid Feb to mid Mar 2004). I was glad to be warm in CA plus got to be part of a new baby being born. Wish we could afford for you to speak at our annual Business Assicates Event in June. Since our main goal is to raise money for scholarships, we are somewhat resticted. Keep up your good work. Can't wait to hear your new CD. Hi From "Dr. B" !!!!!
Well you already know that I am sitting here in my office listening to your wonderful voice ..... as do all the rest of the folks in the four counties within the State of Florida that I regularly travel in my practice .....anyone who gets near the CD player in my car, that is!
I love your website! It is great to be able to know where and when you will be appearing. You are truly one of God's special "sunflowers" in the world. Right now, there is no KTG work of art not owned by "Dr. B," except for that charm bracelet and your new single. Therefore, as a mother and grandmother, now during Mother's Day Season 2004, I shall immediately forward your Mother's Day specials e-mail announcement to all in my family circle as a "hint." I look forward to my personally autographed CD single to add to the rest of my fully autographed KTG library. Hooray!
May God continue to grant you that high level of "passion" for motivating so many in the world in that wonderful "KTG down-to-earth-let's-get-real-and-learn-from-each-other-style" for many, many years to come, Ms. Karen Taylor Good! I will pray that you will have the time to once again grace us with your presence in St. Petersburg, Florida in the not too distant future! Because of you ..... "God's perfect work of art" .... many in the world are so much more enriched, and healing .... saying: "Yes to life!!!!."
xxx Blessings,
Lani MacDonald, J.D., Esq., CFRD
P.S.
"The Sunny State" is much more "sunny" as inspired by our "KTG Sunflower!" Thank you, Karen!

CommentsI really enjoyed the ABWA convention in Long Beach and you were a great part of the wisdom I received. I'm a big girl with a mushy heart. I am so glad I get these E-mails. My daughter was singing along to some of these songs and stating who sang them. I did not know I already owned songs you wrote! I am still buying your CD's.

CommentsDear Karen,
My mom works for RTA Hospice in Arizona, and two of the nurses she works with recently went to a seminar where you spoke. I got a copy of your CD through my mom, and I want to thank you for your music. Your song "On Angel's Wings" has helped me deal with the fact that my great-grandma doesn't remember who I am anymore, and has prepared me for when her time does come to pass. Thank you so much.
You have fans of all ages, and I'm absolutely sure of that. My grandma loves your music, and I'm only 13 and enjoy your music more than you could imagine.
Thank you.
Ashley
