Karen: I first heard your music at the Unity Church in Cincinnati, OH. I was holding my mother's hand when I first heard the song, "How Can I Help You Say Goodbye". She had been skillfully coping with cancer for many years. On December 15 of this year, she was finally released from this world and how appropriate to play your song at the ceremony commemorating her life. My mom was always there through the changes in my life....always supporting me and comforting me...just like the song. I am so grateful for the gift of being able to hear that song with her and to thank her at that time for the guidance and support she had given me to that point. My 6 year son is a big fan of the song as well and asks to have it played over and over again! (as well as the song "Wash Your Mind Out With Hope!) How wonderful it is that he is beginning to understand and embrace the changes that go on life through the words of your song. I listen constantly to your music when driving in my car. My children (all boys) enjoy it and have many favorites. One day after picking up my 12 year old son at school, we were listening to one of your CD's. He commented after a couple songs that he had never felt so calm and peaceful. Your music has woven its magic into my life and the life of my husband and children. Never would I have imagined the impact that one concert would have on my life. I have shared your music with my women's church group and anyone who will listen! I gave one of your CD's to a friend who was feeling down and at a crossroad's in her life. It has helped her to refocus her energy in a new found positive direction. You are one person who has made a tremendous difference in the world and I thank you! Vicki Fitzgerald

Karen, I love your music, your lyrics. Seeing you in Nasville touched my life in many ways. I am looking for the lyrics to the song "Kinder" so I may take your song and pass out the words to the children in my daughter's class, as she is picked on for her differences. I am hoping hearing your words will help to change the children in her class. Make them all see that we all need love, no matter our differences, we are all God's children. Thank You. Karen, You a awesome! Your uplifting music really has helped me cope with my father's death. He died in May and suffered from bone cancer for 10 excrutiating years. "Healing In The Hands Of Time", has been my new theme song. Also, your song, "Real Men Cry" has helped my four brothers as well. They were taught to be macho. The one I thought was the most macho, loves your CD. Liz (Sh.....) is my good friend. She introduced me to your CD. She gave it to me at my Dad's funeral. Thanks for signing it! I hope to have you come to our church. God Bless you and thanks for continuing to both touch and heal hearts. Your ministry is so needed! Much Respect & Admiration, Cheryl - Stillwater

Karen, I heard you sing at the 11 a.m. service at Unity Christ Church this morning and was so touched by your music that I decided to return for your afternoon performance (which was no easy task, as I live 45 minutes from church and had to bring my three girls home first and get back there in time for your concert, but decided it was worth it). Your gift of song, in both your voice and your lyrics, is beautifully inspirational, uplifting and enlightening. How wonderful it is when one finds their true gifts and uses them to honor God in the all of the ways that you are doing. Bless You!!! Noreen

Karen, I just wanted to tell you that I am so glad you wrote the song How Can I Help You To Say Goodbye. On Feb. 22, 2003 My uncle was killed in a very bad car accident. My family and I are having a hard time dealing with our loss. We went up to WI for the funeral on Feb. 26th. The accident didn't happened to far from my grandparent's house so we had to go pass where it happened. I would like to tell what happen. We got to a little town called Hamburg, WI. Which is not to far from Wausua, WI. We were driving down the dirt road that lead to my grandparent's house. All of a sudden the radio stopped working. As my husband and I approached the cross marking where my uncle was killed. Your song How Can I Help You Say Goodbye started to play on the radio. I started crying really hard. I am not sure why that song played at that moment. But it did. It made me feel that it was ok to let my uncle go. Thanks, Tanya Harp Joliet,IL

Karen, I just got back from the Unity Music and Worship Workshop in St. Petersburg, FL with you, and wanted to tell you how very much I enjoyed all you gave there. We came home very much inspired to continued growth here in Cookeville, and your music added much to that inspiration. Thank you.

Karen, your incredible voice and talent for really touching people's hearts was so wonderful at the Unity Church of Clearwater today. It is such a gift to encourage others and help others cope with challenges that we all share over a lifetime. I enjoyed your service with a friend who lost her dear mother just 3 months ago - and my own mama is 85 and I cherish every day we spend together on this earth. You are one very special Gift from God.

Do you have any suggestions for using the words to "All my roads" as wedding vows? The song has so much meaning for my fiance and I, and we would love to use them, but unfortunately, neither of us are creative enough to change the lyrics into vows. Any help would be great!

Dear, dear Karen, Thanks again for a wonderful evening at Tin Pan - you are my idol. I am still in Nashville and just returned from Jason's BMI workshop. He was talking about you, as usual. He (and all of us) love you so much. Now, I've come back to the hotel and the gal who sets up the club room goodies - her Mom just died. Well, I came up to my room and got your CD to give to her - the one with "On Angel's Wings" so now I'll have to buy another. Is it on the CD with your book? I can't find it on the web page (the book). Victoria (Grof)

HI Karen! It's Cherie Ades, the Jewish young therapist from the radical forgivenss workshop at Unity in Louisville. IT was so awesome being w/you and meeting you. I have cried so often to your music and so long wanted to be famous singer but God is using my talents in other ways. By the way, RAchael is beautiful! Al-anon has really helped me..as I told you I work in chemical dependency. Let me know if you need some friendship and advise for free as a friend! I would love to see you if we come to Nashville. Is that possible? Do you think I could go to the conference in Lou. in June or would you like to get together when you are in town. I'd love it! My email is cherylades@aol.com. I would like to stay in touch and know you are busy! I love the album KINDER! Especially that particular song! You are a blessing and I hope to hear from you! Love, Cherie

Karen I heard you while my wife and I attended Colin Tipping's seminar in Denver. You have hit a homerun with "On Angel's Wings." Not a dry eye in the place after you sang it. My mother has ALZ too and I'll be sharing your song and book with my sister. She's our Mom's caregiver given that we are all out of state. As I learn more about the ALZ it is not something to go through alone, afflicted or loving one. "On Angel's Wings" gives one such a peace of mind when there may not be apiece left. I will refer your song to those who need it. A great contribution. Thanks. JS Harper

I just love your song "Not that Different". I have a son with Down Syndrome and I sing it everywhere I go to tell people that we are all not that different. I also love "How can I help you say goodbye". However I did not realize that you wrote it until I came to this web site. It took me a long time before I could sing this song with out crying. I would love to know the background to this wonderful song also. Thanks for writing such wonderful and meaningful songs.

Karen: I stumbled across the lyrics of your song "On Angel's Wings" last year while I was working on my Forensics competition with a theme of Alzheimer's. At the time my grandmother was living and dealing with Alzheimer's. The song touched me so, after reading it over a couple times I had all the words memorized. The words you wrote seemed to me as if they were written perfectly about my grandmother. On Friday February 28th my mother was given the news that my Grandmother had only a few days left to live her life. They said at best two days. That night I came home from college to be with my mother. She told me how she wanted to do something special for my grandmother's funeral. I remembered the lyrics I found the year before and showed them to my mom. She remembered them---I remember reading them to her after I found them and just reading them made my mother's eyes fill with tears. We went onto barnes and noble dot com and saw that they had the cd we rushed ordered it and it came in 2 days before the funeral. My grandmother died exactly 2 days after we were told that she would pass. At the funeral we played part of the song "On Angel's Wings" and I was to read something afterwards so I was separated from my family. As the song was playing I looked over and saw my family in tears. My older brother who likes to act like a tough guy had tears pouring down his cheeks. It took all my strength not to cry. After the funeral everyone told me how much they enjoyed your song. I listen to that song right now. and I listen to it whenever my heart is sad...your song allows me to grieve yet in a positive way. THANK YOU! Angie Wisconsin, USA

Thank you Karen for sharing your songs and yourself with us at Mile High Church in Denver. After hearing you and Colin on Friday night, I knew I had to return on Saturday, and of course heard you on Sunday, and then again on Wednesday. I feel like a groupie or something. I can't get enough of your music! I bought your CD/book and need about 20 more copies to give as gifts! Being the mom of a "know it all" 17 year old, having an aging mom, a genius dad that had ALZ and having my husband die at a young age, your music and your outlook on life speak to me! Thanks so much. Jenny

Dear Karen, I probably shouldn't call you Karen. You don't know me. I have heard you at Mile Hi Church of Religious Science in Denver (Lakewood). I gave you a thank you card that I wrote you the Wednesday nite you were here before Palm Sunday if that rings any bells, but I wouldn't expect it to. I used your song "On Angel's Wings" at Mom's celebration of her life service (and the grief support group I am in and the Alzheimers support group). I am writing to say that it is official. I have listened to all your CDs that I know of and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE your music. It is simple, direct, insightful, touching, beautiful, and often has several layers of meaning. It makes me feel, ache, be happy, laugh, think, cry, examine, wonder, and wish so much that I had your gift. I am so touched that in your music you capture "life" (or at least pieces of it) and put the pieces into words that everyone feels but sometimes can't say or maybe doesn't even know they are feeling! Amazing! Wonderful! You have brought me such feeling. You make it feel like someone has experiences like mine and that I'm not alone. You have touched my heart deeply. For me, that is one of the highest compliments. Thank you and Namaste, Christy P.S. Your website is very very nice!

Karen, I recently attended my 4th bereaved parents conference here in Wisconsin. It is held anually by the Wisconsin Infant Death Center here. Every year they include something, a small momento if you will in each of our conference material packets. In the past it has been a pin or ornament, just something to help all of us remember our child in different ways. However this year they included a single copy of your beautiful song "Precious Child." As well as played it during the memorial part of the conference. I lost my youngest child of 4 months in 2000. And still with no answers as to why, your song has brought me some comfort, even through all the tears. I can say without reservation that it is by the far the most beautiful song I have ever heard. Although it has brought many tears to myself and family we all thank you dearly for the beautiful words that can be deeply appreciated by bereaved parents such as myself. Again we thank you and love what your doing and singing. With appreciation, The Jeters Family
