I think your songs are great. They have messages that a lot of people need to hear to help them heal inside. I personally love the song "She's Gonna Fly" because when Collin Raye's CD came out with the song on it, I needed to hear the message it holds. My mother died Easter Sunday before the CD was released, so when I heard the song it made me realize that she was ok and in a better place. Karen, keep on giving songs to Collin to record, because the 2 of you are the best.

Dorothy

Dear Ms. Karen,

I am a fan in the truest sense. You are indeed a gift from God. You write with such compassion, such strength and such depth of emotion that you can't help but touch the very souls of your listeners. You are an absolute joy to the world ... and to me ... you are an angel. I thank The Good Lord above for letting me borrow you.

Much love,

Dan Earl Stewart.

Thanks for the opportunity to join your newsletter list. I like the idea of listening before buying. After hearing the tracks for "Kinder" I ordered! Can't wait to get it. Hope the bookstore here at Unity Village carry it for your fans here too! Julie Boles

Dear Karen,

Saw and heard you at the Fairfax Unity Church on Sunday - Feb. 4th and have to say you not only have a gift but you are a gift. Thank you for sharing your gift with us. And thank God for giving you your gift and allowing you to put it out there.

It was such a pleasure to hear your sweet voice and your great words - the messages came across loud and clear. I had bought your newest tape and CD after church service and listened to it before the concert that night and after but I will have to listen to the CD on a good stereo system because you voice in person is so much more amazing. Maybe it was just the Presence of the Lord in that place.

Hope your success continues and that you have an opportunity to visit more Unity Churches all over to share your gift. Your voice and music bring peace, love, laughter and healing to the soul.

Here we said the weather would be fine on Monday - hope it was over there in VA and DC - over here in Maryland the ground is covered already. It maybe only raining over there and maybe this is happening so you will come back again to Fairfax and maybe visit the Unity Church in Gaithersburg and in Fredrick Maryland and stay a while in between Sundays.

Have a wonderful life and a quote I remembered when I heard your song "All I need" is:

"If you want to make God laugh...tell him your plans".

I am just glad that my plans to come to Unity yesterday worked out as well as they did. I think he was smiling down on that one. But I know there were other plans I have made that he must have been in hysterics over. I wonder if when I was making them he was up there saying "NOT", "Wrong", or "Think again" or whatever the current lingo is.

Your are a blessing from God and I will send a prayer everytime I listen to your music or think or talk about you.

Guess this is more of a letter but that is okay because I may never pass this way again and you deserve the praise and appreciation.

Dear Karen,

I am so happy to finally be at your website. I have to admit that I have never been a country music fan. I love the blues...jazz is cool...classical can be beautiful and I love rock...but country...I had gone so far as to ask my dear hubby not to play Garth when I was around...In the last few months I had gotten over that....

Then I find myself crying my eyes red at Fairfax Unity as you played. I have so enjoyed playing your CDs. Even my five year old girl has asked me to turn on On Angel's Wings so she can listen to her favorite song!

Woman, it seems that you have found a way to imprint your soul onto a CD for us to laugh..and cry with. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself with us! You truly have touched my soul and been an inspiration to me.

You are a PHENOMENAL WOMAN! Thank you for calming those committees and following the wonderful path you are on. I shall keep you and your family in my prayers.

-Karen

I think the web site is great but I think Karen and her voice and songs is better. I heard Karen at the Unity Church in Virginia and thought she was awesome. I bought a CD and a tape and have given both away. Now I need to buy somemore. God puts us in the right place at the right time.

I didn't know what the songs on the tape were until I listened but one of them Precious Child ended up meaning more than I thought at the time. I have a 3 year old nephew with cancer who on Valentine's Day this year was diagnosed with two new tumors on the brain. The surgeon advised not to operate so I felt this song would mean a lot to both my sister, the Grandmother and the mother. I told them I didn't know the story behind the song.

Thank you and if you get a chance to come to Calif. let me know so I can come and bring people to hear you. There is something about seeing an artist in person that makes the songs mean even more.

Thank you,

Amy Millett

I just sent my first song to Nashville to be recorded by a studio down there. This is a huge first step for me and I have to credit you for the inspiration. I look forward to hearing Kinder...thanks for including "All My Roads"- I still can't believe that Collin/Steve Cox? and/or the label didn't release it as a single. You're the best! Tom

Karen, we loved you at UCC in Suwannee. Thanks for making our dedication so special. My 8 year old son loved your concert as much as I did. He surprised me when he knew a lot of the words to your songs. Our favorite verse being "I know everything I need to know when I need to know it." That's always so encourageing for me and helpful for working with the youth at our church. Thanks for your inspiration. The youth dept. got the full CD set as a gift. We are so excited. Thanks for your healing music. Go for the O!!!! Helen and Robert Marshall, UCC Suwanne, Ga.

Howdy!

Picked up 'Kinder' at Tower Records (West End) before heading home. What a soft-spoken & amazing talent you are! However, after hearing your killer rendition of 'The OGB Why Me Blues' at Tin Pan South 2001, I'm actually VERY relieved that I am NOT your gyno. Really! ;0) SEE YA!

Hi Karen,

I first heard you at the TCF Conference in Nashville in 1998 when you sang "Precious Child." I just walked in the door from the conference in Arlington, VA where I bought another of your CDs of the song. Your gift to all of us as bereaved parents leaves me speechless. I will always treasure that song and I'm so glad to have heard you sign it in person. It's definitely a tear jerker, but sometimes we just need to cry. Our son, Jason, was killed in a car accident almost 6 years ago and though the pain has dulled a bit, I know it will always hurt. I believe music is a great healer and your song is one of the best. I don't know how you did it but you captured something special. Thank you.

Hello Karen (and all fans of heart warming singing and songwriting)...

I can't wait to see you (for the third time) in August. To be exact, that's Friday, August 24, 2001 at Uncle Calvin's Coffeehouse in North Dallas, Texas. Come on all you north Texans... if you've been looking for a place to enjoy great (mostly acoustic) singing and songwriting in a non-smoking alcohol free venue, I promise, you won't find a better match than KTG and Uncle Calvin's.

Dear Karen, 08-01-01 I saw you last night at Mile-Hi. I am the one who was crying. I had seen you once before there, and you have moved me so I can not even explain it. Karen,

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! You are truly an amazing gift from God! I met you last might at Mile-Hi in Denver. As you have for so many others, you touched my heart and soul in a way that no other person has. I mentioned to you that I was an actor and searching for a direction in my life. On the drive home, so many of your songs from "Kinder" hit home. In fact, I made the drive longer, just to listen to the entire CD in that wonderful environment. Without trying to sound too dramatic...the moon was peeking out from behind whisps of clouds, the air was cool, and your haunting voice made the night seem as though I were in another dimension...it was honestly a life altering moment. Again, thank you for touching so many people's lives in so many different ways...and for specifically touching mine in a way that will stay with me until the sun sets in this life.

Love, Bruce Perry (bperry65@hotmail.com)

P.S. Thanks for the hugs!!!

Hi Karen,

I've been wanting to stop and say 'hi' for sometime now. I am a singer/songwriter who lives in Lawrenceville, Ga. and 'metaphysical' as well. I found out you were in the Atlanta area last year when I 'accidentally' recieved a newsletter to Unity Church talking about an upcoming performance of yours. I do love your music. You go girl!

Karen,

I heard you sing at Unity North, in Marietta, GA. You are a terrific singer, and your songs give both my sister and me encouragement and hope for the future. My sister is the mother of two teenagers, so Heart of my Heart is especially meaningful to her!

Your website is terrific, but I was unable to join the email newsletter. I'll try again another time.
